If you hop in the car for a drive up the coast, you can make scenic stops at Navarro Beach (8 miles north), Navarro River Redwoods State Park (11 miles northeast), Mendocino Headlands State Park (19 miles north), Russian Gulch State Park (21 miles north), and the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens (25 miles north).
