White Pine Cottage

Welcome to White Pine Cottage where you can experience quiet outdoor charm with a small town feel. The cottage sits on 13 acres of mature pines and hardwoods on the edge of Moose Lake, MN. The community of Moose Lake is a gateway to the north boasting access to both the Willard Munger paved trail system and the Soo Line ATV Trail System. The town and ML State Park offer swimming beaches, boat landings and fishing piers for your enjoyment. The space NOTE: There is a $20/ person/night additional charge for more than double occupancy to cover extra cleaning, utilities and laundry. This is how we keep our nightly rate low by offering the bunkhouse at a small additional fee for extra sleeping quarters. Use of the Bunkhouse is automatically included in nightly rate with more than 2 people. The Bunkhouse is also available for an extra $20/night if there are only 2 people but you still wish to have separate sleeping quarters. NOTE: We are pet friendly but only for dogs at this time. We do not allow cats or any other animals. The Cottage: 1 bedroom with a queen bed, Living room with a pull out couch and tv, 1 bath, kitchen, dining room, sun porch (with dedicated workspace, day bed and couch) and coffee corner. **Extra sleeping spots in cottage include the pull out couch in living room and the daybed and couch in the sun porch.** The Bunkhouse: 1 Queen bed, chaise lounge, tv, beverage fridge, and screen porch with napping couch (seasonally). The screen porch is always open and available for all guests to use. Guest access There is ample parking onsite to accommodate guest vehicles as well as trailer parking for ATVs, snowmobiles, boats or anything else. Just let us know if you're bringing a trailer and we'll direct you where to park. Other things to note We are a true owner/operator airbnb - not a commercial property owner. We do all the cleaning and maintenance ourselves and pride ourselves on offering one of the most economical, well-maintained, cleanest STRs you'll ever stay in. We are in a wooded area surrounded by wetlands and do not use broad spectrum pesticides. That being said, when it's wet - there are mosquitoes. However we do offer a variety of bug sprays and have a screened in porch and sunroom to enjoy. We may need to come and water the plantings and gardens or mow during warmer months and shovel/plow during cold months. We will always coordinate with guests so our visits are as unobtrusive as possible. We have a moveable fire pit and provide wood, fire starting materials and roasting sticks. Burn all the wood you want for free! We do utilize scented plug-ins and use regular detergent . If you prefer an unscented space and linens, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs. We also have extra parking space for trailers, campers, ice houses, etc..
