From crystal-clear natural springs like Alexander Springs, Juniper Springs, Silver Glen Springs, Salt Springs, Rock Springs, Silver Springs, Rainbow Springs and more. (Some springs can be accessed via the trail systems in the forest), endless riding trails in the backyard, to charming Mount Dora sunsets and the iconic World Equestrian Center, adventure and relaxation are always within reach. Spend your days swimming in pristine waters, zip lining through treetops, off-roading forest trails, or cruising the chain of 7 monster lakes on a pontoon boat. Evenings are perfect for downtown Mount Dora strolls, live music, fine dining, or simply unwinding in peaceful surroundings. Whether you’re here for outdoor adventure, equestrian events, or a relaxing escape, this is the perfect home base for unforgettable memories with showers better than home! Our aquifer well and large shower will not disappoint. Thanks to being so close to 3 beautiful towns (Umatilla, Eustis and Mt Dora) this is by far the best location in the Ocala National Forest to stay. We are on the Forest Road but close to city limits for all things needed like food, gas, and all necessities. We urge you to grab a homemade breakfast at our favorite spot Greg’s Haystax! Roads on the way in are sandy and require 4x4! Animal sightings like Deer, Turkey, Fox, Bear, Owls, Eagles, Hawks, and much much more are common. 40 miles from Daytona Beach / 37 Miles to Orlando and Parks For Rver’s - I’m sure we can accommodate for trailers that aren’t too large, though we do not have a trailer electric or sewer hook up.
