Our property is centrally located nearby all of the major 3 SEASON family-fun activities and children's theme parks here in the Mountains of Northern New Hampshire. We have DIRECT access to the NH Snowmobile Corridor 11 and ATV trails and plenty of room for your trailers in the driveway. Your drive time is just 7 minutes to Bretton Woods Mountain/Nordic Center ("rated New Hampshire's #1 largest/best ski resort"... soon to be featuring NH's ONLY 8-passenger Gondolas, making it NH's fastest lift!). Cannon is 15 minutes away. (White Mtn Regional Airport is a 10-minute drive... and drive time from Logan Intl is 2:45 mins and 90 mins to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.) Upon entering this property you're greeted by stone columns and warmly-lit, NH-made brass lanterns along the entire driveway. Woodland Acres is private development of contemporary mountain homes offering beautiful mountain vistas and expansive forest and fields/lawns. Please Note: Snowmobiles and ATV's are NOT allowed on our main gravel road EXCEPT to briefly cross the street to access the NH Corridor. HOUSE RULES: (Please read in its entirety) No Pets No smoking, parties, or events (STRICTLY ENFORCED) Check-in is anytime after 4PM & Check-out by 10AM We do not wear outside shoes inside because we wish to keep germs/bacteria outside for the cleanest experience for our guests, so please slip off footwear in nice mudroom and enjoy toasty toes seasonally with our radiant heated floors throughout ALL 3 levels of our home. We always want to insure that guests have read our entire Description including the sleeping accommodations and also understand our house rules of "no outside shoes beyond the mudroom" and “no parties or additional guests". Please be sure children are not jumping on beds/furniture (as caused 2 damaged beds in the past... oopps). While we want you to fully enjoy all that our large yard and deck offers during the warmer months, in consideration and respect of our neighbors, we must request that there are no loud noises/voices after 9:00 PM.... and NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED. WOODLAND ACRES is a beautiful and peaceful mountain community which our guests love to visit year round. PLEASE NOTE: Community Ordinances Prohibit Parties and Excessive Drinking and Loud Noises/Voices/Music. Please NO VEHICLES driven on the front and rear lawns (underground tanks). Please EXTINGUISH fire in the fire pit when done using and never leave unattended. Local Wildlife & Black Bear - Please do not feed our bears by leaving food out! We are blessed to be surrounded by nature at it’s best and our log home is surrounded by wonderful wildlife. You may be treated to seeing a deer, or even a moose that occasionally stroll thru the property. We also love to see the occasional black bear that come thru the property, especially the cubs who can be mischievous. The bears are really not interested in us; however bears are attracted to food, and for this reason it is important that you insure there is no food left outside of the house, including on the deck and the screened in porch (this includes trash). While our beloved black bears are very bashful and will typically run away when they see us, please remove any food from the dining-room table in the evening before you retire when windows are opened, and always close the sliding doors as well. Please be sure garage doors are kept closed as trash barrels are located there.
