Kommee Kurki, a child and pet friendly house

Kommeen Kurjen talomajoitus is a safe and comfortable place to stay in the Sastamala countryside. The house is particularly suitable for families with children, couples and small work groups. Linen is included. Pets allowed, extra charge. Kommee Kurki is a well-equipped and spacious house, designed for a maximum of 6 people. In addition, a 0-2 year old stays free of charge in a travel cot. The building was renovated in 2007 and furnished for accommodation in 2016. The entire house has free WiFi. The space The entire house has 102 m² of space and the rooms are spacious and functional. Our idea is to provide comfort and quality for both our short and long-term guests. Komme Kurje has a comfortable bedroom with twin beds for two, as well as a large living room with a 160 cm wide sofa bed with proper mattresses. Extra beds include a foldable sofa bed (1 person), a separate extra bed (1 person) and, if necessary, a folding mattress. The house is designed for a maximum of 6 people, but there is still enough space for a folding mattress. In addition, a free travel cot is available for a 0-2 year old traveler. The house has a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a bathroom with an electric sauna, toilet, shower and a drying washing machine. The living room has a flat-screen TV, lots of books to read and board games to play. The kitchen has a high chair. Linen and towels are included in the price, and the beds are already made. Linen and towels are washed without fragrance, and linen is always ironed after washing. Indoor pets are welcome, extra charge 10€/pet. The house has a large dog bed, a dog pillow and 2 metal drinking/feeding bowls and a cat bowl. We hope that only child-friendly dogs are kept free in the yard, and even then under supervision. Please note that there may be other guests in the area during the summer season in the Satukurki cottage on the other side of the garden, in the tree tent camp on the shore of the bird lake, and in the mobile home park in the corner of the yard. When there are guests or day users in the tree tent camp, we ask that you do not go near the camp, as the camp is reserved only for the use of the group. You can go with dogs to the edge of the forest next to the house and in the forest next to the trampoline. A tracking track can be made in our field outside the growing season. You can go for a walk along the Jokelankulmantie road, which branches off near the intersection of the courtyard, which is much calmer than Houhajärventie. And you can always pack the dogs in the car, and go to the Sastamala dog park, which opened in the spring of 2024, or admire the Sastamala nature trails, for example. Although we believe that only smart pets and owners come here, we reserve the right to charge in full for any damage caused by the pet. Please consider the following guests by carefully cleaning up your pet's tracks indoors and outdoors. Pets are not allowed in the beds. The core of the house's heating is a reserve fireplace, which we usually take care of during the winter when our guests are away. For safety reasons, guests cannot use the fireplace themselves, and excessive heating may damage the interior of the fireplace. If you wish, we can adjust the heating so that you can enjoy the atmosphere of the fireplace. Ask for more information! The additional heat of the house is an air heat pump and electric radiators, which guests can of course adjust as needed. We live in the house next door, so we are easily accessible if you have any problems or questions. Our own children are happy to be playmates for our guests' children in the yard. Although we are close, the privacy of our guests is of paramount importance to us, and we are used to adapting our business so that our guests can be in their own way. The yard has a small sandbox, a slide, swings, a large trampoline, and a disc golf practice basket with discs. The yard is safe because there are no water areas or busy roads nearby. The driveway is long, so cars don't pass by the house. Guest access The entire Kommeen Kurjen Talo is available to the same guests. You are free to walk around the garden and the surrounding area, as long as you take into account the privacy of those staying in the Satukurki cottage and the Tentsile tree tent camp. The terrace fire pit can be used when the forest fire warning is not in effect. Other things to note The usual check-in time is 3-11 pm. Please let us know your estimated check-in time. Coffee and tea, as well as local honey, are available. In addition, you can book breakfast supplies in the cabinet when you send a message no later than the day before your arrival. Breakfast items include bread, ham, cheese, cucumber, eggs for boiling or frying, yogurt and juice. Breakfast supplies cost €8.00/person/morning and €3.00 for children aged 3-6 per morning. These can be paid on the spot with cash or card. During the summer season, from May to August, a special experience is available on the shore of the bird lake, tree accommodation. The two Tentsile tree tents of the camp are always in use by the same group, and they serve as both a night place and a day use from 12 to 3 pm. The Tentsile tent is a great place to relax, even for a nap or meditation. One triangular wooden tent can accommodate 1-3 adults or 2 adults and 1-2 children. Wellness services are also available, such as a holistic body relaxing sound bowl treatment by a partner, which can be ordered in connection with a house stay or in Tentsile. Ask for more information and check availability! The nearest beach, Vesaranta (Maurialantie 433) at the southern end of Houhajärvi, is about 6 km away. However, we recommend the city's largest and most versatile beach: Pororanta is located in the center of Kaalisaari (Saarikatu 1). Alasenranta (Jaatsinkatu 10) is also a nice beach.
