A beautiful cottage in a big garden of another property. Hveragerdi is a small town and is inside the Golden circle. Supermarket, bakery, tourist info, bank and postoffice are all within walking distance. The famous hot spring (for bathing) in Reykjadalur is a 45 min walk away. The cottage has one bedroom with a queen size bed, one double bed in the living area and one double bed upstairs (airbed). It has a microwave oven and a small stove and all the basic cooking equipments. The house is in a small village that has often be named as the hot spring capital of the world. You will have a whole house for yourself apart from half the loft that is used as a storage room. Its a cosy little house with small cooking facilities, microwave, bread maker and a fridge. The house is in a big garden along with another house which is not always in use. You have access to the garden and you can use the tables and chairs that are outside the big house at all times. Supermarket and shops are within walking distance. There is a famous hot spring called Reykjadalur that is up in the valley. It takes around 70 min to walk up to the hot stream where you can take a swim in the nature. There are no showers or facilities so there is no entrance fee. On the way you will find many beautiful hot springs and nature. There is also an amazing swimming pool in town that I recommend that you try out. Its warmer than normal swimming pools and big. Guests have access to the enire first floor. The loft is closed. I offer all my guests information on what they can do in the area of Hveragerdi and in South of Iceland. In Hveragerdi you can walk to a hot spring Reykjadalur where you can swim. Its totally reserved in its original form and there are no shower facilities or an entrance fee. Hveragerdi has also one of our best swimming pool. Hveragerdi has all the facilities needed like supermarket, post office, bus station, tourist information and a bank. It is quiet and you will experience being close to the nature but you have the comfort of necessary facilities.
