Steps lead up to your private deck and entrance with a view of Melrose Bay, a small bay off of Lake Santa Fe, designated as an Outstanding Florida Water by the State of Florida. The expanse of the room opens up before you as you enter the space, met by wood paneled walls, exposed brick, and comfortable furnishings. A complete kitchenette, with fridge, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, and tables, greets you as you come in; with a bedroom with two built-in x-long twin beds to the west; and the full bath to the east. Beyond are two built-in twin beds along the eastern wall with folding screens for privacy, a large closet, and book shelves. Along the west wall is a cubby room, mahogany desk work-space, and comfy seating area. Screened windows and door, space heaters, and a window air-conditioner keep the open lay-out at a pleasant temperature of your choosing. Guest access The entire upstairs is your hide-a-way. Other things to note A large tabby cat named Guapo claims Terry Top (the name of the lake cottage) as his domain. Please no other pets as guests. And, please, no smoking indoors.
