Whether you're looking for a nature wildlife staycation or a place to rest your head between visiting the wonderful things Branson and Springfield have to offer, you won't find another place like this! -40 mins to Branson -40 mins to Springfield -25 mins to Ozark SLEEPING & LIVING ARRANGEMENTS: The home is a two story Eagle's Nest Del-Tec home so there is one flight of stairs. The first floor features a welcoming living room with a TV, perfect for relaxing. Bedroom 2- Queen size bed (sleeps 2, no tv) Bedroom 3 - Queen size bed (sleeps 2, no tv) These two bedrooms share a full bathroom. Upstairs, discover stunning, floor-to-ceiling windows and a sitting room with plush seating, ideal for enjoying the views, listening to music on the record player we provide with a variety of classic rock records on hand, or playing cards or board games we provide for your entertainment. Adjacent to the sitting room is a half bath and the dining area, leading to a fully stocked kitchen where you can prepare delicious meals. Master bedroom 1 - King size bed (sleeps 2 with tv) with attached full bathroom (jets on tub DO NOT work). Enjoy 360-degree views from the wrap-around upper deck, accessible via sliding glass doors from both the dining room and the master bedroom. Neither of these doors have built-in locks but we have added child safety locks. PROPERTY FEATURES: Fully equipped kitchen: crock-pot, blender, toaster/convection oven, mixing bowls, food storage, frying pans, pots, stainless steel cooking sheets, casserole dishes, popcorn maker, wine glasses, kids dishware, hand mixer and starter spices. We do offer both drinking water and ice through our installed reverse osmosis water filtration system. Coffee bar with electric tea kettle, k-cup machine, pour over coffee machine, french press and includes k-cups, ground coffee, stevia packets, powder creamer and more. High speed Wi-Fi and streaming TV's. No cable provided, but you're welcome to login to your favorite streaming services. The upstairs sitting room includes many board and card games for you to choose from as well as a beautiful record player/cd/ player/blue tooth speaker system. Each room has extra blankets in the closets. No laundry on site. Starter supply of bathroom tissue (3 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom) and 2 rolls of paper towels will be provided as well as 4 trash bags. Outdoor seating on both upper deck and lower level. No grill provided, no open flames. We do provide a propane fire pit table at the front ground level seating area. Please use responsibly. Absolutely no smoking on the premises, in doors or out doors. Due to the nature of the environment and home location, the risk of forest fire does not allow for smoking, Vaping, fireworks or any open flame. Pets: We do allow up to 2 dogs (50lb weight limit) with a $150 non-refundable deposit. Security cameras - there are two cameras located on the property. One at the front door and one on the detached garage/workshop building. Check-in at 4pm. Check-out at 11am. Guest access Guests will have access to the first and top floors. The basement is not accessible and will be locked. This is storage for the owner. There is an owners closet near the kitchen which will be locked and not accessible to guests. This is the owners maintenance closet. Please do not attempt to open either of these rooms. The metal building/workshop on the property is closed to guests and will be locked. This is used for owners storage as well. Please do not try to access this building. There is a wood fireplace upstairs that will be locked to guest use. Please do not attempt to use this. Other things to note This home is highly secluded and private, the closest grocery and/or convenience store is located 30 minutes away. Roads to the home are winding, rural country roads but offer amazing views, farm animal views and wildlife. Please be cautious when driving. Animals you may encounter on the road could include deer, ducks, goats, livestock guardian dogs, peacocks, chickens, cows, pigs and more. Please do not try to enter the metal shop building. This is used as a storage/workshop and is not accessible for guests. The property is almost always quiet but Busiek State Forest and Wildlife Area Shooting Range is located several miles towards the back of the property. The home is located in the woods. You are almost certain to encounter wildlife during your stay. Some of which could be considered dangerous. Examples of wildlife may include: deer, bear, coyote, rabbits, skunks, possums, armadillos, bobcats, snakes and more. You may also see mice, spiders, moths, bugs and snakes as they inhabit wooded areas. We make every effort to exterminate these pests to keep them out of the home but it is impossible to prevent every bug, spider and sometimes mouse from entering. No refunds will be given for incidents where pests are found. This home's kitchen and master bathroom are NOT remodeled/updated, they are dated - so if you're looking for a perfectly updated/remodeled home, this may not be for you. But if you're looking for a clean, relaxing, comfortable home in the seclusion of the woods to enjoy your time with loved ones, this is it! Yes, there are a lot of wildlife including deer but please note - we do not allow hunting of any kind. Please be respectful and do not hunt.
