Walk into an airy great room: find a large island, cook’s dream kitchen, roomy couch and gas fireplace. Sliding glass doors transport you to the deck with couch/glass fire pit. Play in the garage game room or soak in the hot tub. This pet friendly space is nestled high on the quiet east side of town. 5 mins. to downtown, 20 to Hood River. The space The main room of this one level house is serene and spacious, with beautiful natural light from tall windows and a sliding glass door out onto the deck. There is kitchen island, with 4 padded swivel bar stools. Kitchen is fully equipped, and stocked with a few cooking essentials. The elevated live edge white oak dining table gives you a view of the river, with seating for 8. You can chat with anyone from the sectional couch, settle in to read by the gas fireplace or watch the smart TV. We have books and games for many ages in the main room, and a stereo that iPhone users can access, or use the bluetooth speaker from the game room. The garage/game room has its own AC/heat and is right off the main room. Play a game of table top pool, foosball, ping pong or darts. The master bedroom/bath has beautiful river views, a memory foam king sized mattress and adjoining bath. The queen has a memory foam mattress and is nice and quiet. Both rooms have luggage racks. The bunk room can sleep 4. Laundry in the hall. Baths have relaxing rain showers, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. All rooms have live plants, charging stations, reading lights and smart TV's. The 30x9' deck features an outdoor lounge set, gas firepit and wonderful views. Watch the barges, see the planes landing across the river, or enjoy a sunset and twinkling city lights. Brand new Weber gas grill near the deck. The view is surprisingly excellent from the hot tub down below the deck. Bring some flip flops and we provide the beach towels! We do have two booster seats and a packnplay crib for the infants. Guest access The whole house is yours! Other things to note Garbage collection is Wednesday. Sometimes we leave the can by the curb for pickup and appreciate if you want to bring it back down to the east side of the house. We also offer can, glass and paper recycling in the garage.
