Welcome to Fox Den, a peaceful lakefront log cabin on Douglas Lake! This 2BR/2BA + loft retreat sleeps 9 and features an electric fireplace, board games, propane grill, firepit with swing, and beautiful lake views. Enjoy a private path to the water where you will find a 16' boat dock,Easy paved-road access, minutes from historic Dandridge, and close to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, and the Smoky Mountains. There is a community boat launch, and we have lots of boat trailer parking. The space The space is warm and inviting and is a real log cabin. It has soaring sealings, granite countertops, hardwood floors and tongue and groove walls. There are 2 bedrooms on the main level. The primary bedroom is ensuite with a walk-in shower and a kings size bed. The other bedroom has queen size bed. The open loft above has queen bed, a futon, a twin day-bed and a roll-away twin bed. The kitchen is nicely appointed with everything that you will need with exception to food. There is an electric fireplace for getting cozy on cool evenings or your can hang out at the firepit and take in the night under the stars. The cabin has a covered back porch where there is a propane grill for your use. Guest access You will receive your check-in instructions by email on your arrival date at 2 pm along with your door code. Douglas Lake is a TVA controlled reservoir, and we encourage you to check the lake levels for your estimated dates of travel before planning your trip. We can not guarantee the lake levels. During the summer months, it is typically at full pool. This property has a lake view all year round. You will be required to sign a rental agreement, a point of contact form and set up a required security deposit just making your reservation. This is required to stay with us. We do require a security deposit which is a hold on your card that will be placed 2 days before your arrival. This is approved for professional management companies with Airbnb.
