The space Hemlock Point Cabin is a peaceful Adirondack retreat set on two wooded acres along Otter Creek. The cabin offers a quiet escape surrounded by forest, flowing water, and the natural beauty of the Northwoods. Inside, you’ll find a bright and comfortable living space with natural wood finishes and forest views. The pellet stove creates a cozy place to relax after a day exploring the outdoors. The one-bedroom, one-bath layout is ideal for couples, solo travelers, or small groups looking for a simple and comfortable stay. Outside, guests can enjoy the creek, gather around the firepit, or unwind and listen to the sound of the water nearby. The cabin offers easy access to hiking, waterfalls, state forests, and year-round Adirondack recreation. In winter, snowmobilers appreciate the nearby trailhead located about 5–7 minutes away, with parking available on the property for trailers. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire Hemlock Point Cabin and the surrounding property during their stay. The cabin is fully private, with its own driveway, parking area, and outdoor space. The property offers ample parking, including additional space for snowmobile trailers, making it a convenient option for guests traveling with winter recreation equipment. Hemlock Point Cabin is located near our sister cabin, allowing friends or family to stay close together if both cabins are booked. The cabins are separated by natural woods, providing privacy while still offering the option to be nearby. Guests will enjoy a self-check-in experience and complete access to the cabin throughout their stay. Other things to note Hemlock Point Cabin is located in a quiet, rural Adirondack setting, surrounded by woods and natural landscape. Guests should expect seasonal wildlife, insects, and changing weather conditions that come with staying in a four-season mountain region. Winter Weather: This area receives significant snowfall during the winter months. We work closely with our plow service to have the driveway cleared as quickly and safely as possible following snow events, though timing may vary depending on weather conditions. Guests should be comfortable driving in winter conditions typical of the region. The driveway has additional parking space available for snowmobile trailers. When snow conditions allow, guests may also drive snowmobiles along the road to nearby trail access points. Snowmobile Access: The cabin is located approximately 3 miles (about 5–7 minutes) from trail access on Chases Lake Road. Depending on snow coverage, guests often ride the road directly to the trail, or trailer a short distance to nearby trailhead parking. Either option is common in this area. Being slightly off the main trail allows for a quiet, private setting to return to at the end of the day, without trail traffic or nighttime noise. Heating & Comfort: The cabin is equipped with regular electric heat & pellet stove, which provides both warmth and ambiance during cooler months. Basic operating instructions are provided in the house manual and next to the stove. Internet & Technology: Hemlock Point Cabin offers internet service and a TV. Due to the rural location, connectivity may occasionally vary, which is common in this part of the Adirondacks. Guests may log into their own streaming services during their stay. A sister cabin is located nearby on a neighboring property. The cabins are separated by natural woods, offering privacy while allowing friends or family to stay close together if both cabins are booked.
