Cosy one bedroom apartment in the woods

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space with access to trails, walking distance to the village of Wakefield (20 min). Very private, with a deck overlooking the forest. Private entrance, laundry, central heating, fully equipped kitchen, lots of light. Located on a quiet rural property where deer and other wildlife are frequent visitors. The space The studio occupies the ground floor of our home but is a completely self-contained unit with its own entrance, kitchen, bathroom, laundry and outdoor area. We live upstairs with our two small, friendly dogs and two indoor cats. Our dogs do not use the outdoor area immediately in front of the studio, although you may occasionally see them elsewhere on the property or driveway. The property borders the forest and is close to walking trails, so wildlife and occasionally other walkers and dogs may also be encountered. The property is served by a private well and septic system. The well water is safe to drink and is treated with a water softener and filtration system. As with most rural properties using a well and septic system, we ask guests to be mindful of water consumption and avoid excessive or unnecessary water use. Please flush only toilet paper. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the studio and the outdoor area immediately in front of it, including the deck. The guests also have a dedicated parking space. The driveway is shared for access to the property. There is a walking trail approximately 50 metres away with easy access from the property. Other things to note Pets are welcome, but please check with us before booking and tell us a little about your pet, particularly if they have any special requirements or are uncomfortable around other animals. We have two small, friendly dogs and two indoor cats. The dogs may occasionally be on the driveway or elsewhere on the property.
