Description

Sleep under a million stars. Wake up 35 minutes from the Grand Canyon. This modern 40ft container cabin sits on a private acre in Valle, AZ — one of Arizona's darkest sky corridors. By day, explore a natural wonder. By night, the universe puts on a show. STARGAZING DOME: Steps away sits your geodesic mirror dome — a clear-top stargazing lounge where the Milky Way stretches horizon to horizon. Beds are in the cabin. Your days belong to the Canyon. Your nights belong to the stars. The space THE CONTAINER CABIN Your main living space, with all beds inside. This modern industrial 40ft container was designed for comfort in the high desert: full kitchen with espresso machine, fridge and freezer, modern bathroom with walk-in shower and hot water, air conditioning for hot afternoons and heat for cold desert nights, complimentary WiFi — yes, even off-grid — a 50-inch TV, and a dining table for meals with a view. Sleeps up to 4. THE STARGAZING DOME Steps from your door sits the reason people talk about this place: a geodesic mirror dome with a clear top, built as a stargazing lounge. On a clear night the Milky Way stretches horizon to horizon above you. Bring a blanket, lie back, and watch the universe do its thing. One important note: the dome is a lounge, not a sleeping space — all beds are in the cabin. It runs colder or warmer than the cabin by season, so dress in layers. OUTSIDE One private acre of high-desert quiet with 360-degree mountain views. Fire up the BBQ grill for dinner, then move to the fire pit as the sun drops — sunset is the opening act, the stars are the show. No neighbors pressed against you, no streetlights, no noise. Complete peace. THE LOCATION Valle is the crossroads of Grand Canyon country. The South Rim entrance is about 35 minutes north — close enough to catch sunrise at the rim. Historic Williams, with its Route 66 main street and the Grand Canyon Railway, is an easy drive south, and Flagstaff and Sedona make great day trips. WHO THIS SUITS Couples chasing a memorable night sky, adventurers using the Canyon as basecamp, and anyone who wants to unplug without giving up a hot shower and a good espresso. Families are welcome — the cabin is a cozy fit for 4 — and so is your dog. WHAT'S INCLUDED Full kitchen with espresso machine, fridge and freezer • Fast WiFi • 50" TV • Air conditioning + heat • Walk-in shower with hot water • Dining table • Linens, towels and essentials • Hangers and storage • BBQ grill • Fire pit • Self check-in with keypad • Pets welcome • Long-term stays welcome • Free parking on premises We're proudly 100% solar-powered and off-grid — a dark-sky, light-footprint stay. Full off-grid house notes (power, septic, trash, wildlife, road access) are below so you arrive prepared.. ALSO INSIDE: a Bluetooth sound system for your own soundtrack, and a shelf of board games for the nights you'd rather stay in. Guest access You have exclusive access to both the container and the stargazing dome. The entire 1-acre property is yours to explore. Please note: Access requires driving on a rugged, unpaved desert road off Highway 180. We strongly recommend a mid-size SUV or larger. Low-clearance vehicles are not advised. Other things to note Off-Grid Solar: We rely entirely on the sun. To ensure power through the night, please limit showers/heating if the battery is below 50% after sunset. Septic: Only toilet paper can be flushed. Trash: No outdoor trash service—please "Pack It Out" to avoid attracting wildlife. Wildlife: You are in a wilderness area; please keep doors closed to keep desert critters out. Climate: The high desert gets very cold at night and hot during the day. Dress in layers! Stargazing Dome: The dome is a lounge for stargazing and hanging out — not a sleeping space. All sleeping is inside the container cabin. The dome can run colder or warmer than the container depending on the season, so dress accordingly!
