Homey Cottage in our Horse Guest Ranch "El Rancho Evergreen" 45 min south of San Cristóbal de las Casas, hidden in a valley surrounded by a 100 acres of forests, prairies, streams and springs. A great place for hiking, horseback riding, cooking or just relaxing. The space Nestled in the 100 acres of the equestrian working ranch, El Rancho Evergreen, your cottage has a private garden with fruit trees and exotic flowers, an ample lawn for sun bathers and trees for shade to enjoy a cool drink or swing in a hammock, a sun room for reading or conversing and front row seats for spectacular sunsets. The ranch is a great place to disconnect from the urban world and reconnect with nature and animals. We have cats and dogs of all sizes that are quick to adopt new animal lovers. We offer outdoor activities such as horseback riding, horse experience, natural horsemanship lessons and horse therapy. Explore our hiking trails, birdwatching blinds, cycling paths, picnic spots… Ask for detailed info and prices. The Cottage is provided with a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, oven, microwave, blender etc) with all you need to cook great meals (pots and pans - a large selection of spices, sugar, salt, oil). You will also find drinking water, comfortable bedding, towels and toilet paper. Guest access As our guests you can freely enjoy our peaceful and beautiful 100 acres eco reserve and participate to any of the activities offered by the ranch. Horseback riding - Hiking - Birdwatching - Natural horsemanship workshop... All for children and adults. Other things to note WI-FI There is no phone coverage at the ranch but we have internet so wifi is available. Starlink is available if you need to work (extra charges). "If you like to cook” We recommend doing your shopping in San Cristobal de las Casas (30km away) where you will find all you can wish for (organic, whole food, bakeries, delicatessens, large super markets). There are no stores close by the ranch. The village of Betania is the closest place, 7km of dirt road away, accesible in taxi where you will find basic dry goods, fresh fruits and veggies.
