WildWood Escape

Nestled in a wooded setting, WildWood Escape offers the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway. Located 3 miles from Salt Fork State Park and 6 minutes from I-77 and I-70. The cabin boasts a large outdoor fire pit surrounded by comfortable Adirondack chairs, perfect for gathering with friends or family. This property provides a tranquil escape, complete with modern comforts and rustic charm. Perfect for nature lovers and those seeking a cozy vacation experience! The space Wildwood Escape offers two bedrooms. A king size bed on the main floor an a full size bed in the loft. Each bedroom has a smart TV that you can stream your favorite shows from your own account. There is a deluxe full bath with dual shower heads, complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Plenty of towels and washcloths are provided for your convenience. The kitchen is fully stocked, with a 12 cup Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, and electric stove. The dining table seats up to 6 people where you can share meals or play games. The living space has a gas fire place, and a smart TV, which can be used from your own accounts. Relax on a full sized reclining couch, or 2 comfy bucket chairs. The outdoor space offers a six person hot tub, cozy porch swing, and outdoor sitting bar area. A gas grill and grilling accessories are available for use. Unwind around a smokeless fire pit area or in one our comfortable hammocks. Connect to our Bluetooth speakers mounted on the front porch while you spend time outside. Firewood is provided. We do our best to manage the bugs and spiders, etc, with routine pest control, but please be aware that this is a rustic log cabin- a few stragglers may find their way inside, especially in certain seasons. Housekeeping sweeps the porch and stairs before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice leaves, pollen, or such things. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up! Please note that the cabin is located at the top of a steep gravel driveway. 2WD is usually not an issue, but in any wintery weather conditions, you will need to have a 4WD vehicle to be able to safely make it to the top of the driveway. Guest access Guest has access to entire property except the basement area.
