aMandala River Retreat is a serene three-story riverfront retreat designed for rest and renewal. Set on stilts at the peaceful confluence of the sacred Santa Fe and Ichetucknee Rivers, this home is tucked within a private, tree-filled community with access to riverside parks. The home features a primary suite with garden tub and shower, three guest rooms across upper levels, and an on-site space offering massage, acupuncture, and sound healing by request. The space The private dock on the Santa Fe River is also just steps away from the mouth of the Ichetucknee and a private park for swimming in the clear Ichetucknee waters. Ground level kitchen with outdoor grill that is equipped with gas, charcoal and wood chip smoking features to smoke the mullet that you catch off the private dock. Also the home boasts boardgames, art supplies, and a firepit for family and friend bonding during your retreat. The Santa Fe is known for mullet and bass fishing, bird watching, and even manatees in the winter while the Ichetucknee is known for its crystal clear waters yearround. Whether you’re gathering with loved ones, visiting the local sites with friends, reconnecting with nature, or seeking a quiet place to rest, reflect, and renew, this riverside home provides the ideal setting. Spend your mornings listening to the flow of the water while identifying the many species of birds and fish, your afternoons exploring the natural springs and nearby trails, and your evenings relaxing under the stars listening to the mullet jump in the river while watching the stars fall across the night sky. At the aMandala River Retreat, you’ll find more than a place to stay — you’ll discover a peaceful riverfront sanctuary where you can truly rest, reconnect, and rejuvenate. For a deeper healing experience, you can book sessions in our on-site massage, acupuncture, and sound healing space. Prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen or hire a private chef to cook for you. Families can arrange a specialized nanny for kid-friendly adventures, or hire professional photographers to capture special moments. Paddleboards and kayaks are available for your use, or you can hire a guide to explore the waterways while learning about the local lore. Please note: There are security cameras under the house for your safety. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property except the locked owner closets. Other things to note EARLY CHECK-IN/LATE CHECK-OUT: Guests should know that we can sometimes accommodate early check-in times or later check-out times. Please message via the messaging system to inquire further. Sometimes an additional fee is required depending on how early/late your request time is and if we can guarantee it. KAYAKS: We offer 4 single kayaks and a 3-person canoe complimentary for your use on the Santa Fe River during your stay. Paddles and life jackets are made available. Please note use of kayaks, canoes, and swimming in the river are at your own risk. HOT TUB: We offer complimentary use of a 4-person inflatable hot tub. The hot tub is offered as available, as there are times when the hot tub is undergoing maintenance and may not be available for your stay, please check with us to ensure the hot tub is available for your requested dates. Please note that our home is in a camp-like setting and guests may encounter bugs. We do have a pest control company that regularly services the home, but if visiting in the spring and summer months please anticipate some bugs.
