Built in 2023, we offer a pristine, glamourous space to relax and unwind. 4 bedrooms (2 up & 2 down), 2 full baths (1 up & 1 down), vaulted ceilings & modern conveniences. Be among the first to enjoy this beautiful scenic cottage. Beautiful view of river, without direct water access. The space The main floor includes the master bedroom (king bed), spare bedroom (queen bed), living room, kitchen, dining area and full bathroom. Floor to ceiling windows enhance the beauty of this setting. The lower level includes two bedrooms (queen beds), family room, full bath, laundry room, work station and exercise equipment. Central air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and TV's with Firestick. Outdoor guests can enjoy a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs. Only 9 minutes from Mont St Marie golfing, mountain biking and skiing. Fishing and boating is also available in the area. This property is in steep terrain and requires a four wheel drive vehicle to access. Guests can also enjoy a public beach on Lac Ste-Marie, just a few minutes’ drive from the property. For a more secluded experience, discover a hidden gem at the base of Mont Ste-Marie ski hill—a charming little beach with a jumping rock, perfect for a fun and relaxing day by the water. Please note: while we’re located right on the Gatineau River, water access from the property is not available at this time. We’re planning to install river access stairs in 2026. Other things to note ✅ Already Provided • Linens & Towels – Sheets, duvets (1 king, 3 queens), and bath towels are supplied. • Kitchen Basics – Salt, pepper, oil, spices, ketchup, coffee pods (Keurig), and tea. • Cooking Tools – Cutlery, utensils, cutting boards, cookware, Keurig coffee maker, kettle. • Safety Items – Fire extinguishers, first aid kit, and bear spray. • Entertainment – Vinyl player with records, Bluetooth speakers, WiFi. • Cleaning Supplies – Mop, vacuum, and cleaning products. 🧳 What You Should Bring 1. Drinking Water – The chalet has potable well water, but you may prefer bottled water if you’re sensitive to taste. 2. Extra Food & Snacks – Only basics are stocked, so bring groceries and anything special you like. 3. Personal Toiletries – Shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, etc. 4. Laundry Needs – Laundry use isn’t permitted during your stay, so bring enough clothing for the trip. 5. Outdoor Gear – Hiking boots, seasonal clothing, ski gear (Mont Ste Marie is nearby), golf gear if golfing. 6. Entertainment – Books, games, or your own music. 7. Garbage Bags – You must take your garbage and recycling to the road prior to departure. 8. Weather Protection – Rain gear, winter boots, or bug spray depending on season. 🚗 Travel Prep • Vehicle: A 4WD or AWD is required for the steep laneway. • Navigation: Use the provided Google Maps drop pin rather than just GPS. • Parking: Park away from the rock face (risk of falling rocks). 📷 Exterior security cameras are located at the front entrance, back patio door and driveway for safety and property monitoring.
