You will love our charming "Barrington Cottage", a 3-bedroom, 1.5 bath family home w/water access, kayaks, trampoline raft, outdoor shower, hot tub, firepit & BBQ! Bunkhouse with loft is a perfect hang-out: smart TV, mini-fridge, heat/AC and sleeping areas for 3 (not counted in bedrooms). 20 min. to Bristol, 12 min. to Providence, 40 min. to beaches & Newport. Gourmet kitchen, creative coastal decor, lovely gathering spaces, cozy living room & fireplace, central AC. A fun-filled family home with sunporch and river view, open floor plan, gourmet kitchen and fantastic outdoor firepit & BBQ area. Cozy and comfortable bedrooms with additional sleeping space in bunkhouse, 1.5 baths, and outdoor shower. Magical and fenced-in backyard with bunkhouse, swing, twinkle lights, and hot tub! Use our double kayak and two single kayaks for the river (great fishing off the bridge, too!) and bring (or rent) bikes for the East Bay bike path which is nearby. Barrington is a coastal small town 12 minutes from Providence, and close to Bristol (14 minutes) and Newport (40 minutes). On summer weekends, the high-speed Providence to Newport ferry makes a stop in Bristol, making for a fun way to visit multiple towns during your stay. The artsy, funky town of Warren is just 5 minutes away by car and is a fun destination for dining, shopping, and walking or biking. Entire home and yard spaces (we will not be in residence when we have guests). While the trampoline raft is ours, the waterfront area is a shared space for our street. Use of the docks is not allowed. We ask that you respect our neighbors’ privacy by not walking across their lawns or parking in front of their homes. This is important and allows us to continue to offer our home for stays. We will be available by text/call at any time, and have many resources in town for anything that comes up during your stay. We are in a beautiful and nature-filled suburban coastal community with an adorable village center, unique shops and restaurants, and a family-focused neighborhood. It’s very relaxing, peaceful and serene...but close to all the fun of Providence, Newport, and beyond! We are 1/2 mile; 10 minute walk to the bus line that services Rhode Island. Most people drive vs. use public transportation, but if you don’t have a car, LYFT and Uber service our area and can take you anywhere you want to go! We use them often to go to the train station (20 minutes) or airport (35 minutes.) We like to offer an early check-in / late check-out whenever possible. Let us know your travel plans! Guests will be asked to sign a standard waiver form to use the trampoline raft, kayaks and hot tub. We prefer that guests have previous AirBNB experience and positive profile reviews. This is our family home, so our belongings will be present. (Clothing, books, games, toiletries, kitchen items and provisions, etc.) I have been a Superhost for two years with our previous property in Providence, and enjoyed the AirBNB experience so much that I wanted to extend it to our primary residence.
