“Little Stay @ the Bay @ WhiteDog Acres Farm!

Join us for a “little stay” at the coast with wide open views & real life farm experiences! We are a regenerative agriculture farm, raising our own meat, & doing it chemical free! You can relax & enjoy the entertainment of farm life: dogs, pigs, turkeys, chickens, ducks, sheep, & a pond stocked with catfish—all while being close to the bay if you enjoy coastal fishing! Conveniently located near public boat ramp. The space Coastal farm vibes? Is that a thing? The best of both worlds in one location! What to expect: we are located in Port Alto-Olivia, TX, 20ish miles from Port Lavaca, & 20ish miles from Palacios (as the nearest towns for groceries, restaurants, etc). You can expect animal antics & entertainment, while enjoying the peaceful country life; however, you can also expect some noise at times—hey, we live with a bunch of animals, & they do make noise. Although you shouldn’t hear them while in the loft, you may hear some sounds on the property: Pigs squealing. Roosters crowing. Dogs barking, etc. We will always work to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, but we must insist you follow farm/property rules for everyone’s safety. We have electric fencing that will shock you. Animals have teeth if you get your fingers too close. We are in a country setting with poisonous snakes & spiders! While we are happy to give tours and do animal introductions, we insist guests be accompanied by owners for animal interaction. Guest waiver required. PLEASE NOTE: this is a studio apartment, inside our shop, above our residence. The apartment is nicknamed the “Little Person Loft” because it is 350sq feet, & it has a SLOPED CEILING where the bed & couch are located—you will have to duck to walk in that area!! As it is located in the shop, there are NO farm views from inside the loft. Best suited for 1-2 guests, but there is a couch that makes out into a bed for an additional person. Ok, we got that out of the way! Phew! We love to host, & we love to have guests enjoy what God has so richly blessed us with. The sunset and sunrise views are great coastal farm settings to enjoy. We have mowed trails for walking, & we are happy to introduce you to the farm characters around here, including Honey the pig; Porky the chicken (who thinks she’s a pig); Bleu Cheese & Quackers—the ducks; Brick the turkey (until Thanksgiving at least!); our sheep herd, & of course, our amazing livestock guardian dogs—Sig, Archer, & Bow. Here to fish?! We are near the bay for coastal fishing as well as the private community beach & are here to help with local eats & entertainment! Public boat ramp access a hop, skip, & a jump down the road at Haterius Park in Olivia, TX. No luck at the bay, yet still craving fish? Let us know, & we might be able to help with a catfish from our pond! We can offer you covered boat parking :) And if you’re here for work, we are located near the local plant! PLEASE NOTE: Stairs required to access apartment! Guest access Guests have access to loft apartment area through the shop; designated BBQ area; & mowed walking trail around front pasture pond; use of extra refrigerator & freezer in shop; laundry in shop. Covered boat parking available by request. Exploring the property further requires owner accompaniment and permission.
