Vintage Cabin w/ Lake Superior views & fenced yard

This dog-friendly vintage cabin in Tofte blends rustic charm with modern comforts, offering the perfect getaway on the stunning shores of Lake Superior. Nestled in an unbeatable location, the cabin is just a short walk to Bluefin Bay Grille, Coho Cafe and minutes from some of Minnesota’s most iconic state parks, including Temperance River and Cascade River. The space Welcome to our vintage cabin! The home is fully stocked with pretty much everything you need to cook great meals on the brand new gas cooktop stove. There are ample dishwares for up to 8 guests. The home has one small step up to enter from the driveway and there are two bedrooms on the main level, one with a king size bed, and the other with a Queen. The kitchen, dining room, living room/fireplace, and bathroom are also on the main level. The walkout lower level also has two bedrooms, one with two twin beds, the other with a twin over full bunk bed. All beds have comfortable, brand new memory foam mattresses installed in October 2025. This level also has a second family room, TV, and the authentic 1981 model PacMan arcade game - that does have Ms. Pacman and Speed Pacman also loaded! The bathroom's shower dispensers are stocked with Shampoo, Conditioner, and body wash from Public Goods. We stock Starbucks French Roast coffee. The backyard is fully-fenced, and a great area for dogs to roam. Guests are welcome to park their car(s) in the oversized two car garage. The circular driveway also makes for great ease for those who have snowmobile trailers. The house is so close to many of the North Shore's most popular attractions, including the beautiful Oberg Mountain Scenic Overlook and Hiking Trail, a must-see during leaf change season. Head down the shore just a couple of miles and check out Temperance River State Park. Or, head up the shore and you will find Cascade River State Park. Both State Parks are great for hiking and enjoying some beautiful waterfalls. The Gitchi Gami Bike Trail runs along Highway 61- you can hop on it right from the house. The trail is enjoyed by bikers and walkers alike, taking a scenic ride or stroll along Lake Superior's shoreline. The Lutsen Mountains recreation area is just 10-miles away and offers both winter and summer activities, including downhill skiing, the alpine slide, and a scenic gondola up to the Moose Mountain Summit. Enjoy the many restaurants and live music offered year-round on the mountain, as well. Guest access You are welcome to use the whole home, as well as the two car garage. Other things to note We are dog-friendly, but asks guest to use the couch covers if their dogs like to couch surf. We also ask that dogs are kept off of the comforters on the beds. Please message before booking, if you want to bring your cat - we allow cats on a case by case basis.
