Experience a relaxing getaway at our Fiddler’s Beach House, named after the fiddler crabs that occasionally wander onto the property from the salt marsh. The home is located along the Tolomato River ecosystem in St Augustine. Enjoy the stunning marsh, intracoastal waterway and ocean views from one of the upper balconies as you sip your coffee or enjoy a glass of wine after a day at the beach. Look for native birds such as Blue Herons, Snowy Egrets & Roseate Spoonbills in the salt marsh below. The space Our spacious, family-friendly home located only .4 miles and approximately a 5 minute walk to Surfside Beachfront park includes an elevator which provides easy access to the upper two levels. The third floor features a large family room, chef’s style kitchen with Monogram appliances and an induction stove, a large dinning area, half bath, and laundry room. A Weber propane grill and Kamodo Joe smoker are also included. The second floor hosts the luxurious master suite with a king bed, tub, shower and private balcony overlooking the intracoastal waterway and salt marsh. A quiet nook is in the master suite for relaxing with a book and desk for any office needs while away. Two additional bedrooms and shared bathroom are conveniently located on the 2nd floor, one with a queen bed and the other with two twins. The first floor includes a queen bed with a TV room that also has a fold out couch with memory foam mattress. A 2nd refrigerator, full bathroom with beach towels, and garage access with a private porch leading down to the salt marsh. The home comes stocked with Tommy Bahama chairs and umbrellas, wagon, beach toys, coolers, and a pickle ball set. Please adhere to the no pets rule, this ensures guests with pet allergies are accommodated as well. Please notify us before making your RSVP if you are bringing a service animal. Thank you for your understanding! Guest access The whole house is available for your stay. A Weber propane grill and Kamodo Joe smoker are included. Guests will be sent an access code via email for the front door and garage keypad prior to their stay. Keys will be available in the bowl by the front door. They have apple AirTags on them to make them locatable if lost. Please contact us immediately upon discovering them missing to avoid $100 fee. Other things to note Fiddler's Beach comes stocked with Tommy Bahama chairs and umbrellas, wagon, beach toys, coolers, and a pickle ball set. A community park has a basketball court, tennis & pickleball. The house is just a 5 min walk to Surfside Park on the beach and Publix grocery store and restaurants are less than a mile away. Downtown St Augustine is only 3 miles away and less than 10 minutes to attractions, dining, galleries and shops. San Marco and St George St. are only 3 miles away, less than 10 minutes to attractions, galleries, shopping & excellent restaurants and bars. Local attractions include Castillo de San Marcos, St Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum, Trolley Tour, Lightner Museum, Colonial Quarter, and Flagler College. Other attractions in Old Towne are The Spanish Military Hospital & Museum, Old City Jail, Fountain of Youth, & Ghosts and Graveyards Tour. Kids will enjoy the Alligator Farm, the zip lines at Crocodile Crossing, Pirate & Treasure Museum, & of course Ripley's Believe it or Not. St Augustine Beach has a Farmer's Market every Saturday at the Amphitheater, a local pier, many popular restaurants & state parks.
