Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Remodeled in 2025, this cabin is located on a 12 acre private lake. With lots of windows allowing natural light, you will wake up to a beautiful view of the sunrise reflecting off the lake. The space Our cabin was the scale house to the quarry back in the 1970’s and 80’s. After the mining was completed the area was turned into a private 12 acre lake and a rustic cabin for family use. In 2025 we remodeled the cabin to allow guests from all over the world to enjoy this peaceful setting. We invite you to come relax on the deck, sit around the fire, gaze at the stars and listen to the night sounds of creation. Explore the lake together on a paddleboard, test your fishing skills on a kayak, or take a walk around the lake and enjoy the native landcsape. The cabin includes a full shower, full size refrigerator, a microwave/convection oven, a queen size pull out couch, queen size air mattress, fire pit, and campchairs. (kayaks and paddleboards available on request.) Guest access The full cabin and deck area are free to use as well as the fire pit. The lake is also yours to enjoy swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and even ice skating! Lake use is at your own risk! Other things to note The water in the cabin is not filtered. There is filtered water for drinking available from the refrigerator.
