Master (Bedroom #1): King-size bed with Smart TV. The bedroom features a large patio door that opens to the lower deck space, offering direct views of the lake, and is equipped with a ceiling fan. The spacious en-suite bathroom features a shower, a full-size tub, and a vanity. Bedroom #2: Queen-size bed with two twin bunkbeds. Ample closet space is available, and the room is equipped with a ceiling fan. Bedroom #3: Queen-size bed with two twin bunkbeds. Outside: The downstairs porch is completely covered and can be accessed from both sides of the yard as well as from the house via a sliding glass door. The main dining table can comfortably seat six, with additional seating and ottomans available for accommodating more guests. The kitchen island has four stools (kids' favorite dining space). The upper deck is most likely the primary deck that will be used, due to its easy access to the house and yard, and also includes an outdoor dining area. It also offers the best views of the lake and is the ideal spot to watch the sunrise and sunset, or sit and take in the stunning lake views. Guest access Guests can access everything in the house, except for the master closet, the owners' supply closet, and the garage. Guest access The house has a smart lock. Other things to note Things to do while you are here: • Cruise the Lake Lake Livingston is perfect for boating enthusiasts, with over 80 miles of navigable waters. You can rent a boat or bring your own and enjoy a day on the lake. • Cast Your Worries Away with Fishing When visiting Lake Livingston, it’s impossible not to spend time fishing with your family. The gorgeous lake is known for its crappie, white bass, catfish, and perch. Our guests can fish at our neighborhood boat ramp. Close enough that you can easily catch your dinner for the evening, then relax on the upper deck. • Enjoy Nature’s Playground on Foot Explore Lake Livingston State Park. Several hiking trails around Lake Livingston State Park include the Pineywoods Nature Trail and the Lake Loop Trail. These trails offer stunning views of the lake and the surrounding forests. The Pineywoods Boardwalk Trail is an easy, relaxing walk through the wetlands, while the Livingston Trail Loop provides a longer, shaded path ideal for spotting deer, squirrels, and birds. The lake and the surrounding area are home to various wildlife, including deer, raccoons, armadillos, and more. You can go on a nature walk or drive around the area to spot these animals in their natural habitat. • Set your Sights on the Butterflies The Monarch Butterfly Migration Trail passes through Lake Livingston. When you visit in the fall, you can see the mesmerizing cloud of butterflies migrating to Mexico. Watch for the same colorful swarm of butterflies in the Spring as they return to the United States. • Shop ’til You Drop Lake Livingston’s variety of antique shops and boutiques is a shopper’s dream. Check out trade days, held every third Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the month in Livingston. The diverse art and craft shops, antique vendors, and dining areas scattered throughout the market will astound you. The land dedicated to the trade days spans over 200 acres! • Treat Yourself to Delicious Blueberries or Oranges (seasonal) You can also go to The Blueberry Farm or Troy's Orange Picking Farm. You can pick the sweetest delights there in late May and early June, and you may sample and pack as many blueberries as possible for a fun baking day. • Go for a Horseback Ride A leisurely horseback ride is one of the best things to do at Lake Livingston. For inexperienced riders, guided tours are available. • Tee Off for a Day of Fun The area around Lake Livingston has several golf courses. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a round of golf while taking in the scenic views of the lake. • Take a Dip in the Lake Swimming in the cool waters of Lake Livingston is one of the best things to do in Texas during the hot summer months. Local marinas rent tubes, life jackets, and other necessities, or bring your own water accessories to relax in the water. Our neighborhood boat ramp has steps into the lake for experienced swimmers. • Hit the Water and Paddle Your Way to Adventure The calm water makes it an excellent spot for kayaking and paddleboarding. You can rent equipment or bring your own and explore the lake at your own pace. • Grab Your Binoculars and Go on a Birdwatching Adventure The area around the lake is a popular spot for birdwatching, with over 200 species recorded. Bring a pair of binoculars to spot an array of bald eagles, ospreys, and other birds of prey. • Discover the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation Located about 20 miles east of Lake Livingston, the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation is one of the oldest Native American communities in Texas. Visitors can explore cultural exhibits, shop for traditional crafts, and, if visiting at the right time, experience Powwow celebrations featuring dance and music performances.
