Welcome to Maison La Miellée, a former presbytery with vintage charm located 20 km from the Massif du Sud and attested by Vélo Québec. Our 5 rooms are exclusively for you (maximum 10 people) for a unique reconnection experience. Full breakfast is included in your stay, with gluten-free menu available upon request. IMPORTANT NOTE: We live on site and provide personalized hospitality, breakfast service and maintenance of the cottage. The space Enjoy the many living areas offered by Maison La Miellée, including a dining room, a guest lounge and a dining area. The landscaped grounds and the large covered gallery offer privacy and contact with nature, all set back from Main Street. Upstairs, five carefully renovated bedrooms await you, retaining their original wallpaper and pine floors while incorporating modern comforts. - Bedroom "La belle Bordeaux": queen bed - Bedroom "La Miellée": queen bed - "Primavera" room: queen-size bed - Bedroom with "Tulipes": double bed - Bedroom "Macchiato Duo": 2 seater bunk bed The bright kitchenette, with its view of the Church of Saint-Damien and its seating area, is ideal for intimate breakfasts and convivial snacks. Outside breakfast preparation hours, guests are allowed to reheat their meals there. The full bathroom, located upstairs, is available exclusively for you and your group (if applicable). It includes an antique clawfoot bathtub with a shower head and a safety handle. The toilet has a seat-bidet for your personal comfort. A room has been set up for drying outdoor clothing, including several hooks and boot warmers, so that outdoor enthusiasts can dry their gear in any season. This room has a refrigerator for the exclusive use of guests. **Important – House Occupancy Information ** Your hosts, Jacinthe and Serge, also live in the house, in keeping with the typical bed and breakfast (B&B) formula. Their attentive yet discreet presence allows: • preparing and serving breakfast; • rapid assistance and advice when needed; • discreet surveillance of the property; • housekeeping of common areas; • On-demand laundry service. Guests have insider access to all the spaces identified below. Hosts may circulate as needed (especially for regular maintenance), but do not use them for their primary purposes: • Guest room • Guest bathroom on the 2nd floor • Visitor bathroom (toilet) on the 1st floor Please note that guests do not have access to: • The laundry room (the hosts offer a laundry service on request) • The owners' private areas, including their own bathroom • Storage areas • The basement Guest access Main door: In the event that we are unable to accommodate you, the key box access code for the main door will be communicated to you before your arrival. Access to the property: You have access to the whole house, with the exception of the owners' private areas, which include the laundry room. We provide free laundry service on request. Exteriors: Enjoy the backyard, covered gallery, and landscaped grounds. Charging station: EV charging stations are made available by the municipality of Saint-Damien-de-Buckland. These are about 200 meters from the residence. During your stay ***Your privacy is our priority. We have our own private living areas (including our own kitchen and bathroom), which ensures you can relax and enjoy your privacy, while allowing us to offer you the experience of a real bed and breakfast, including breakfast service. We have three adorable Yorkshire Terriers as our companions. They are calm, very well behaved and remain under our constant supervision. They must always be kept on a lead in common areas (especially for short walks). They do not have access to the guest rooms or the areas reserved for you, thus ensuring the tranquillity and hygiene of your stay. As the main entrance and the corridors are shared throughout the house, you may see us moving around there discreetly during the day. We are happy to share our home and are committed to respecting your privacy at all times. We are, of course, available for any questions, recommendations or assistance during your stay. Other things to note Our eco-responsibility is reflected in a set of choices that we believe make a difference: - Home composting - Use of environmentally friendly and biodegradable household products - Selection of local and organic foods as much as possible - Access to a 40-amp socket to charge an electric vehicle (bring your charger) We have chosen to stand out by not offering any televisions in the house, for a complete escape and reconnection experience. However, the Wi-Fi network is available throughout the house. A laundry service is available on request from the hosts, at no extra cost.
