You may see folks stopping by the front of the home and taking pictures as the home is on the tour route for the local guides. Mt Dora is a special place with its many festivals and fairs it is wonderful location in central Florida as a jumping off point to the many lakes and springs in the area. This home, with its lovely 200 year old tree out front, is the perfect location to begin your journey. We are located in downtown Mt Dora, just a 1 minute walk to Donnelly Park and stores, shops and restaurants. Enjoy all that Mt Dora offers just steps away. There is on-site parking for up to two cars – a must for festivals where there is very limited parking in town. This home features two bedrooms and one bath with one king size and one queen size bed where two couples can sleep comfortably. The kitchen and bath were updated in 2017 and offer all the modern conveniences. Custom wood work and furniture and high-end finishes add to the charm of this home. Outside, there is a large lanai in the front of the house and a stone patio in the back The patio offers a covered pergola with a table and chairs enough to seat 8 individuals. In addition, there is a custom build gas fire-pit area with comfortable furniture available for guests. Laundry facilities are located on property. Ask about stays longer than 30 nights except for November and December, weekly rentals maximum. Please note there could be other guests staying in a cabana at the back of the property or the owners in the garage apartment. Parking for two vehicles is reserved for house guests only. Others are required to park on the street. Laundry room is located in the basement of the home with full size washer and dryer-watch your head-low ceiling. One small dog on approval with pet fee.
