Welcome to our luxury lakeside cottage! An Adirondack retreat with room for the entire family. Relax and enjoy this cozy lake house on Piseco lake with private access to 200 feet of lakefront. You'll love the peaceful atmosphere located by Panther Mountain trail on Old Piseco Rd. This is the perfect multiple family rental with a 7 bed bunk room for kids! Dual stone fireplaces, hardwood floors, two and a half baths. Sandy shore lake access for swimming and boating. 15 minutes to Speculator. The space This is our version of paradise - A year round lake house with modern amenities. We recently purchased this gorgeous home and are so excited to offer it to other families! This cabin will be locked unless you request access and rent it for $100/night. Message to add this onto your rental! Half bath and laundry room also located on the first floor. After enjoying an afternoon on the lake, our fully equipped kitchen is the perfect spot to prepare a family dinner. Not in the mood to cook? No worries! Our favorite restaurant, The Oxbow Inn, is located less than 10 mins away. Drive or snowmobile there! They have a wonderful menu but with a large group, takeout pizza is alway a hit! We are 15 minutes to the town of Speculator and Oak Mountain ski area. Speculator has a wide variety of small businesses, shops, restaurants, an ice cream stand, diners, gas station, grocery store/all purpose store, laundromat and a small brewery/barroom. Check out our guidebook for more details! The lake is right outside the house and is shallow and sandy which is perfect for kids and adults to swim in! The water does get quite deep beyond the dock. Please let us know if you plan on bringing a boat so we can provide info on how to use the public boat launch and our dock. We do have a kayak available for guest use! We have a Weber propane grill on the deck for guest use. Our new Adirondack chairs are on the open deck. There is no better place to have coffee, read a book, or just relax and listen to nature. Late checkout request: If you would like to request a late check out please ask in advance - we are sometimes able to accommodate ONLY if we do not have another guest checking in. We will notify you the day prior to checkout if we can accommodate. You may also inquire about renting an extra night to ensure a late check out is available. Seasonal items to note - Docks are usually put in sometime in June depending on weather and availability. You can still use the kayaks and canoes without the dock as they are put in and taken out on the shore. Docks are usually gradually taken out in September-October depending on weather and availability. Guest access Entire home, outdoor space including dock on lake. Other things to note There is limited to no cell service around the lake but you can use the "wifi calling" setting on your cell phone to make calls and send/receive text messages etc. We will make sure you have the wifi password before you arrive!
