The farmhouse offers expansive gathering space perfect for family gatherings, retreats, and special events. The kitchen is fit for any chef with a gourmet Wolf oven and range. The dining room is elegant and spacious enough to fit the largest of families. A wonderful place to unwind is the library- filled with books, 2 window seats and a comfortable wingback chair. Close the original pocket doors for added privacy. Enjoy the piano room dimly lit after dinner, or for breakfast between the Southern sun beams. President McKinley once slept in this room when he visited the estate before his presidency. In the livingroom you will find extremely comfortable couches, beautiful pastoral views, and the comforts of a flat screen smart TV fully equipped with strong WiFi to enjoy your favorite shows on Netflix. 4 lovely appointed bedrooms have character and luxurious comfort. The farmhouse estate has 3 bathrooms with modern upgrades including a relaxing jacuzzi tub. Outside you will find a lovely fenced in garden off the covered patio, that is beautiful on a summer day. Off the kitchen wander down the stone steps to the patio and pool area. The pool is heated for those cooler fall evenings, and contains salt water for the ultimate relaxing experience. Rinse off in the outdoor shower, before cooking dinner on one of our outdoor grills. Sit outside under one of our beautiful maple trees and enjoy the stars. Full moons in the field are rejuvenating here at the farmhouse. In the winter we maintain private Nordic ski trails that are open to our guests and our local Nordic ski community. You will have your own private entrance and fire pit for roasting s’mores after a beautiful Vermont winter day on the trails. Guest access Guests have access to the house, excluding the attic and basement. Guests may enter through the garage, but do not have access to the attic or basement in the garage. Guests may access the patio area, pool area, side and back yard, fenced in flower garden. Guests may access other parts of the farm with special permission only.
