The space Experience mountain living at its finest in this meticulously maintained home set on 94 private acres with breathtaking panoramic views. Perfectly located just 12 minutes from Hunter Mountain and 14 minutes from Windham Mountain, this property offers the ideal blend of seclusion and convenience. After a long day of skiing or exploring, unwind under a sky full of stars. The fully stocked kitchen includes everything you need to prepare a memorable home-cooked Thanksgiving or Christmas feast—just bring the turkey and fixings! Nestled atop a mountain along a state-maintained highway, this home offers year-round accessibility while maintaining complete privacy. Travel up a paved driveway to a large parking area, providing plenty of space for guests and easy access in any season. Inside, you’ll find three spacious bedrooms, a loft area, and ample sleeping arrangements for family and friends. The home features two master suites, each with a king bed and private en-suite bathroom, plus a third bedroom with a queen bed. The loft area includes two twin beds and two futons, making it perfect for kids or additional guests. Step outside and enjoy acres of open land with a beautiful fire pit area, perfect for gathering in the evenings. Firewood is provided for the outdoor fire pit; please bring your own wood for the indoor fireplace. Guest access Guests have access to the entire main floor and upstairs as well as the property. The basement is off limits as well as the garage and owners closet. Other things to note The owner is highly allergic to pets so please be considerate and stay in another home if you have a service animal as allergies can be deadly and other guests that are allergic expect they can stay in a pet free home without a trip to the ER. The dining room table is a family heirloom and is not to be uncovered. The table cloth must remain on it at all times. Do not set anything hot on the table without proper trivets underneath. Any damage will be reported immediately. Being in the woods means you may encounter wildlife and insects—it’s all part of the natural beauty here. Occasionally, small critters like mice may try to find their way inside, but we take proactive measures to keep them out. Some guests prefer traps, while others don’t; if traps are set, they’re discreetly placed. As for bugs, they are a part of outdoor life—bug spray is recommended from spring through fall, and ticks are present year-round, so always check after spending time outside. Weather here can be unpredictable, with snow, ice, rain, and mud depending on the season. We do our best to keep paths clear, but nature sometimes has its own plans. Rock salt helps in winter, but in extreme cold, ice can refreeze. The driveway is plowed after 3-5 inches of snow, but timing depends on road conditions and the plow schedule. If a storm is expected, please park close together to allow for plowing or at the bottom of the driveway if you might have to leave before the plow comes. AWD vehicles are strongly recommended for our region. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy the peaceful beauty of the mountains!
