Who sleeps where? We thought this might help you plan your sleeping arrangements before arriving. 1. The biggest bedroom in the home is the upstairs king bedroom. It has a private balcony with a spectacular lake view - and 2 chairs for enjoying the sunrise with a cup of coffee or sunset with a glass of wine. Closet, dresser, Roku 'Smart TV', and new mini-split air conditioner/heater to adjust upstairs temperatures to your comfort. There is a full bathroom upstairs - shared by the king bedroom and the full bedroom. 2. Probably the 2nd most popular bedroom is the main floor queen bedroom. It has a great view of the lake, closet, dresser, Roku 'Smart TV'. This room also has a full attached bathroom - with stability bars for those needing a bit of extra support. When the hosts use the house, this is the room we put our guests in - primarily because of the attached bath. 3. Bedroom 3 is the full bed upstairs bedroom. This also has a great view of the lake, closet, dresser, Roku 'Smart TV', and mini-split air conditioner/heater. There's also a nice makeup table in the room. Very private room at the end of a hallway. This bedroom shares the full bath upstairs. 4. A 4th option for a bedroom - and the #1 option when my nephew stays over - is the downstairs den. This could be called a 4th bedroom. It's private with a door entrance. Dresser, TV, and spectacular lake views. My nephew likes it because it is just steps away from the huge deck overlooking the lake - and the hot tub. There is a full bath downstairs. And a refrigerator. He's got his own little kingdom downstairs. 5. Next would be the living room 2/library. This room has a queen sofa bed. And using the portable room dividers, one can make this a very private sleeping area. And close to the kitchen for a midnight snack. Those sleeping in this area will need to use the upstairs or downstairs full baths. 6. There is also a queen sofa bed in the primary living room - giving guests a 6th sleeping option. Portable room dividers can also help make this room private. And they have access to the Roku 'Smart TV' and amazing views of the lake. 7. Hosts also provide a crib if the guests have an infant. 8. Hosts provide sheets, blankets, pillows, and pillowcases for all beds and sofa beds! 9. The Village of Watkins Glen caps visitors to a maximum of 10 in a short-term rental. We hope that these multiple sleeping options will provide for a wonderful stay for everyone in your group. Note - we hope you get a chance to enjoy the water - swimming, kayaking, canoeing, fishing. As the Finger Lakes were carved by glaciers, virtually every beach is rocky. We recommend you bring some flip-flops, water shoes, or waterproof sandals to wade into the water to get kayaks or canoes launched. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home, except 2 small closet areas for owner storage and an outside shed used for storage. The rest of the home - 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, full kitchen, living room, library room, downstairs den, rec room, 70-foot deck, dock, and 2 car garage are fully accessible for guests.
