Large and beautiful apartment of 982.75 sq. ft. with 2 bedrooms and 2 off-street parking spaces. Several renovations have been made, including new windows, a new bathroom and hardwood floors in the bedrooms. You are on the 2nd floor with no one above you. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped. Queen beds with new mattresses, wardrobe, bedroom desk, bedside table and lamp in addition to ceiling light. Kitchen and dining room are together. The space You have on site a fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, kitchen hood, kettle, coffee maker, toaster and all the dishes and equipment you need to cook well. The washing machine and dryer have their own space, in the entrance before the bathroom. The shower is glass with sliding counter door and new faucet. In the living room, you have a large leather armchair and a 2-seater fabric sofa. The 55-inch TV is smart and the reception is via Roku. Heating is with smart electronic thermostat and independent control in every room. The control is done on the Hydro-Québec application (HILO), and you must indicate the desired temperature to us. Portable air conditioning is on site pending the installation of a heat pump. Although there is a dryer, there is also a clothesline with over 30 feet and all the clothespins to dry your clothes. You are also a few blocks from the beautiful and large Saint-Noël Park with several trails and children's games and Notre-Dame Park with its arena, outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and ball field for the local team L'Unicanvas. You are also close to the bike path that passes a few blocks away and is 24 km paved and crosses several neighborhoods of the city and old merged cities. The bike path serves as a winter trail for snowmobiles and quads (4x4). Close to the house, you have access to Thetford Golf Club which is located in the city center, 1 km from the apartment. The club is for golf and curling. In winter, you can also cross-country ski there. Nearby you will find a host of activities: • 16 minutes by car there is Mont Adstock for downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, hiking, golf or the simple pleasure of après-ski in its new chalet. • 20 minutes away, you will be at Parc National de Frontenac (SEPAQ) to do all kinds of activities: beach, swimming, outdoor, camping, cycling, kayaking, canoeing, beach volleyball, paddle surfing, pedal boating, wildlife watching, snowshoeing in winter. Possibility to rent equipment. • In the other direction, you will find the 3 Monts in Coleraine for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, treetop adventure course, geological rally. • About 20 minutes away, you will find Grand Lac St-François for motorboat enthusiasts with its public boat launch. • Located in the old downtown of Thetford, we are close to all museums, restaurants and services. Go to the KB3 Museum and climb up to observe the whole city from the top of its tower. • At 2.8 km, go mountain biking and take the opportunity to observe the wind turbines right at their foot. • Do you like scuba diving?
