Cottage in the country

Sunsets by the pond, evenings by the firepit on the dock, quiet walks with lovely views and a clean, cozy room all to yourself. Take a breather from the fast pace and enjoy some of the simpler things in life. This is the place for quiet reflection and rest. While we are rural we are within 10 minutes of good food and great coffee. Come stay for a few days of peace and quiet... The space Located on 9.5 acres behind the main residence, this studio cottage is separated from the main house and has a private entrance. You have access to our pond, a dock to sit on or fish from (fishing poles provided!), a rustic lean-to next to the pond and a small trail around the pond to take walks. There is a table in the lean-to (during the colder months) to use along with a grill (propane and charcoal). Outdoor furniture is also on the patio for your use. **Note: We have 3 dogs that are kept on tie-outs during the day (weather-permitting) and inside at night. We also have several farm cats that roam the property. Guest access You have access to the cottage, the patios in front of the cottage, the rustic lean-to by the pond, the storage shed deck (where the fishing poles and fish food are kept), walking trail around the pond and the grounds west of the cottage down to the tree line and south to the dirt road. Our property line falls immediately north of the trail of the pond and immediately east of the trail. Other things to note Parking: You can park on the gravel next to the barn. If the weather is inclement you can pull up on the grass next to the cottage but be careful of the power pole and stability wires that are attached. The best spot is immediately next to the cottage on the north side. You will be sent a door code once you have arrived.
