Other things to note HEATING and PARKING First thing to note is that this space comes with a RADIANT FLOOR HEATING SYSTEM, and we're sure you'll love it if you haven't experienced it previously! That means, unlike conventional forced hot water heating systems that come from a wall mounted baseboard, this heat comes directly from the floor through your feet and makes the body feel oh so good! The biggest thing to note, is that cranking the heat to 85, is NOT going to make any increasing difference for many hours!! We are completely all for your comfort and desire to raise the temperature, however we recommend only 1° at a time! Basically what happens is that hot water gets forced through pipes in the floor, and generates heat that lasts, but slowly gains. If you haven't experienced radiant heat before, this will feel like a sense of warmth that will be completely different than what you are likely used to. You will notice it warming your body from your feet up, and we're quite sure you're going to love it if you haven't experienced it previously. At the end of the day, the greatest point we want you to take away is that cranking it to 85 degrees, WILL NOT do anybody any favors! You will wake up the next day with heat you likely can't stand. At that point, the floor will be so hot that even opening the windows will not help. Alls you will do is cool off the air temperature while you are standing on an 85° floor that will take 2 days to cool off. PLEASE DON'T DO THIS! Feel free to reach out with any questions, or if you are like a typical senior who likes to have your home a few degrees warmer than the average bear.. we would be happy to turn that up the day ahead of your visit. PARKING: please use the center lane of the lot in front of the garage, as well as the garage parking. The garage is a smaller opening than perhaps you're expecting, so be sure your vehicle actually fits! The garage space and lane in front of it is for you. PLEASE do not park in the lane down the side of the house, in between the home and garage. vehicles do need to get to the back, and we will ask you to move your vehicle. Thank you!
