Whether hosting a holiday feast or a weekend getaway, this home offers plenty of room to unwind and reconnect. The space The house will sleep four guests comfortably. The couch will sleep two. Hosts will approve up to six guests through the holidays as the couch will sleep two small people. Experience the charm of small-town living in the heart of central Kentucky. Our welcoming home offers modern conveniences, including high-speed internet with Wi-Fi, electronic code entry for added security, and a smart TV (please bring your own subscription credentials). Designed with your comfort in mind, the master suite comes complete with a king size bed, a private bath, full length mirror, ceiling fan, black out curtains, and plenty of storage. The second bedroom features a plush queen bed, full-length mirror, dimmer switch lighting, a dedicated workspace, box fan, extra pillows, plus generous closet and storage space. The living room features a new, cozy sectional and ceiling fan with lots of room to spread out. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen and dining area for all your cooking needs. We will happily expand the kitchen table upon request. Situated on a spacious corner lot at the intersection of a main highway and a city street, the home provides privacy with ample distance from neighboring properties and private off-street parking. From the north-facing bay window, enjoy a picturesque view of a classic tobacco barn and scenic farmland. The fenced front yard is available for your use, but you will enter and exit through the upper deck door. Should your mobility not allow for step-climbing, please contact hosts for front-door access. *Note, your private ramp is still required for wheelchair access, but we're happy to work with you for a solution. The back deck is reserved for your private enjoyment and includes two chairs and a small table (not pictured), perfect for relaxing outdoors and enjoying fresh air. Activities during your stay: * You are welcome to tune and play the guitar. Tuner attached. * Board games are located below the TV. * Inside the lift top of the coffee table are Disney puzzles. You are welcome to put together or start on of those. If you do, please leave your puzzle work for others to admire or finish. * The back patio is ideal for sidewalk chalk. * The back yard is level and perfect for a game of volleyball, lawn darts, horseshoes, red rover or other outdoor fun. Add a formal office space for an additional cost per stay. Contact host for details. Guest access Guests may enjoy the front fenced yard, back deck, parking pad, and backyard, as long as it doesn't interfere with other guests or neighbors. The host will share any specific instructions or restrictions before check-in. Other things to note We specialize in mid-term rentals. NOTE: A cleaning fee is applied to all short-term stays. Those funds go directly to a separate private party. Because this is our private home and we take pride in being able to share our space and provide our guests with clean and overstocked accommodations, a REFUNDABLE cleaning fee of $150 is added to all stays for family hosting / gatherings / events exceeding guest size. Please understand, this deposit is primarily to ensure the kitchen is cleaned up, as we recently spent three hours scrubbing a sheet pan clean. Please contact host regarding this if it doesn't apply to you. We are flexible with rates and dates and party size. We will price it per day, without bedroom use. Please note though when we custom price a family gathering, it's based on guest size, usage of space and date requested. You’ll notice personal items in the home, as we still use parts of it privately. The kitchen is fully stocked—feel free to use anything there. *See other notes regarding use of liners with baking and cookware. For our coffee drinkers, there is a coffee pod pot + pods for your convenience. Per guest recommendation, we've added a tabletop ironing board for guest use. We take pride in keeping everything clean and in working order. If we miss something or if anything breaks, please message us right away. **Effective 8/28/26 - any damages to property (beyond any normal wear or tear) or missing items (such as towels) will be billed to the guest** Hosts have dogs; the home is not allergen-free or child-proof. No foul odors inside—if you smoke or vape, please do so outside and dispose of trash in the outside container. Traveling with a dog? Message hosts with request and details, including age and breed of pet. Additional fee may apply. Needing to stay longer than 10 days with special requests? Message host with request and details to work out a personalized agreement that works for everyone. We offer a discount for stays of 28 days. A separate dedicated office space can be added for an additional cost per night. For stays 30 days or longer please contact host for lease terms.
