This charming cottage is nestled in the Texas Hill Country town of Tarpley and just a two minute walk from the famous Mac and Ernies Roadside Eatery which has been featured on the Food Channel, Southern Living and Texas Monthly. The kitchen offers top of the line stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar. The bedroom which opens on to the front porch has lovely antique pieces and a Queen bed. The large bath has a tub with shower and there is a nook with a washer and dryer. All of the interior walls and hardwood floors are lovingly restored reclaimed wood dating back to the 1870s. This is really a couple’s hideaway. There is a large front porch and a smaller back porch each with a table and chairs overlooking the expansive yard with a beautiful Private swimming pool.
