16th-century apartment that has belonged to our family since 1879. Located in the city centre, steps away from the RIALTO MARKET in a quiet street close to the Grand Canal. It has a typical Venetian soul and it is composed of a triple bedroom and a double bedroom, both decorated with frescoed ceilings, a comfortable living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. On a 3rd floor, 54 steps, no elevator. S. MARCO Square is at a 15-minute walk. The space Two bedroom apartment with traditional ‘terrazzo’ floors and composed of: - a large triple bedroom with frescoed ceiling equipped with a comfortable double bed and a single bed; - a large double bedroom with frescoed ceiling equipped with a comfortable double bed; - 1 bathroom (wc, shower, bidet, towels, soap, shower & shampoo gel and hairdryer) - a comfortable living room - a fully equipped kitchen. Perfect place for families and groups of friends who want to experience Venice like locals. All the linen provided are 100% cotton. Guest access The entire apartment is available only to the guests. CHECK-IN is by appointment and free of charge from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. From 9 pm to 11 pm we apply a 30 euro charge to be paid cash upon check-in; later than 11 pm €50. Please, communicate your time of arrival, means of transportation (flight or train reference) and contact number (valid mobile phone). CHECK-OUT is until 10:00 am. Other things to note ITALIAN LEGISLATION Please note that in Italy it is mandatory to sign a contract also for short-term home rentals and that upon arrival you will be asked to sign a standard contract. Besides, we are obliged to send the tenants’ personal information to the local police authorities within 24 hours of their arrival. CITY TAX 3 euro per person, per night (for a maximum of 5 nights) to be paid upon arrival. We will transfer this money to Venice City Council.
