Pine Creek Cabin

Pine Creek Cabin is a renovated 1800s farmhouse on 70 acres with access to Pine Creek an EV (exceptional value) trout stream. Sleeps up to 6 with a full kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, heated floors, and kid-friendly touches. Enjoy fishing, hiking, biking, tubing, or just relaxing on the porch while watching the sunrise over the creek. Minutes from Milheim’s brewery, cafés, and winery, and a short drive to Penn State. Perfect for outdoor lovers, Penn State fans, families, and remote workers alike. The space Pine Creek Cabin a has two floors. On the main floor is a full bathroom with a walk in shower, a full kitchen, a queen sized hide-abed, a table with 6 chairs. Upstairs is a queen sized bed, and a trundle bed which separates into 2 twin beds, or put together to make a king sized bed or one twin can be kept at a lower level for a child. There is also a half bath on the second floor with a toilet and sink. There are designated guest parking spots for several vehicles, one parking spot has a EV car charger (except for June 12-19 2026). Outside there is a front porch for sitting and a spacious back deck. Please enjoy our outdoor amenities, including a grill with grill tools, picnic table, propane fire pit, and outdoor shower. The garage building located on the right hand side of the driveway contained a variety of items for your enjoyment, including creek float tubes, white chairs and a white table for a relaxing “Cricksit” in the creek, assorted balls and toys, bicycles and helmets, and outdoor games such as Cornhole and Giant Jenga. There are also Adirondack chairs over looking Pine Creek. Please feel free to explore the farm during your stay. Our farm lane extends up the driveway approximately half a mile and offers beautiful views along the way. For a longer walk mowed pathways circle the perimeter of the property, providing a peaceful opportunity to enjoy the fields and surrounding countryside. The second-floor sleeping area is accessed by a steeper than typical residential staircase and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. For added convenience a comfortable queen-size hide-a-bed is available on the first floor for guests who prefer to avoid stairs. Nestled on our historic farm, this beautifully renovated 1800’s cabin offers the charm of a bygone era with all the modern comforts. Pine Creek Cabin is attached to our historic farmhouse but enjoys its own private entrances and guest spaces. The hosts reside in the farmhouse several months a year so you may occasionally see us on the farm or hear normal household activity through the foyer wall. Guest access Guests will have the entire cabin, front porch, back deck to themselves. Pine Creek Cabin has separate entrances both front and back. Please note the cabin shares a wall with the main farmhouse, where the hosts reside part of the year. While both spaces are private, occasional muffled sounds may be heard through the cabin foyer wall. Fishing: Guests will have 1500’ of Pine Creek catch and release private water access minus a bend of the creek by the sharp corner of the property.
