Secluded Adult Retreat Apartment

Adults only, secluded wooded retreat. 2-bedroom (1 king, 1 queen) and 2 sofas (not sofa beds) walkout basement apartment available for private gatherings or couples getaways desiring max privacy and get away from it all experience. Available for short or long term rentals. Very secluded property in a remote area. Large flat screens, Wifi. Max guests- 4 Lived in home upstairs with adults and pets. Large breed dog onsite not suitable to be around children. Please no children onsite. The space The property is a private residential home located on over 6 acres. We sit tucked back off a semi-private lane, backing up to the watershed. The house is very private and in a quiet area. Our all adult family lives onsite, but are relatively quiet other than the usual comings and goings of normal life…like coming and going for college and work. We have two adult dogs and cats that you will rarely see and won't interact with unless you need to come upstairs. The pups do bark on occasion for the Amazon man but not too often. The bully boy loves his bone and plays with it rough so you may hear that toy hit the floor a bit. If you’re not an animal person this may bother you. We try to be open that this is a loved and lived in house and we are not perfectly quiet. During your stay, you will have full access to the entire walk-out basement. The space is fully furnished. The living room includes two sofas that can accommodate two adults to sleep (they are not pull outs), a large flat screen TV with Fios internet. Coffee table, and side tables. There is a stocked kitchenette with fridge/freezer, toaster, and microwave and crockpot. Linens and towels are provided as well as shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Laundry is upstairs in the main house if you need it. Guests are welcome to walk the grounds outside of the fenced-in area at any time or lounge on the front porch. There is a charcoal grill available for use. Please let us know and we can set this up for you. If you feel adventurous, we do have a stream at the base of the property and guests are welcome to venture down there for some great pictures. We accept some pets but have a cohesive mix here and don’t like to rock the boat too much as it can be stressful on our boys. We hope you understand. You will hear wild turkey, see deer, small critters, and see our chickens scratching around. We have dogs too. They make noise - I mean they are dogs 🤷🏼‍♀️. They bark from time to time, you are foreign to them, they may bark at you. We try to keep this minimal. It’s a forest environment. If that’s not your vibe and you are a hotel person, you won’t be happy here. If you like nature and leaves and birds- you’ll be in bliss. Guest access Guests have private access to the apartment. Walk along the front side walkway or stepping stones from the parking area to the stone path that goes along the side of the house to the apartment sliding door under the deck. Other things to note Nature lovers paradise! No high heels here! Rustic boho charm, chickens and dogs and occasional turkeys in the distance. Bring your jeans and boots just in case. You will hear the dogs, you will hear the “egg song” from the ladies every morning. It’s DARK In the country at night guys, we are close to it all but feels “off grid” if that’s your vibe you will be happy as a clam. We feel away from it all and we like that, but we have fine dining down the street. We welcome short to long term rentals. We accommodate adult venues from church venues across the end of the spectrum. Ask about our romantic get away packages or our on site bartending. Videography, party assistance or adult events! We are a short 10-minute drive from Owings Mills, Reisterstown, and Glyndon dining attractions, as well as Liberty Watershed and Patapsco hiking galore!! Local vineyards, farmers markets, and breweries are bountiful, all within about a 30-minute drive. We have several really cute restaraunts in the area, The Tillery, The Glyndon Grill, Taj Palace, World of Beer, Eggspectations and more! Head south to Baltimore just 30 minutes away for a night on the town! Enjoy some dancing, check out the harbor attractions, some wonderful restaurants in the popular Fells Point, Canton, or see a show! Or...head to DC and see the sights! We are in a prime location to do it all! We welcome long-term rentals at a fraction of the price! We are a short 10-minute drive to Stevenson University and Owings Mills Metro which terminates right at Johns Hopkins Hospital and close to other Baltimore hospitals.
