The space Welcome to The Hikin Inn! Formerly known as the Stratton Motel, we are excited to present our rebranding. The main house is adjacent to five hotel rooms, each available for separate booking. Guests can enjoy a shared spacious driveway and an outdoor area equipped with picnic tables and a grill. Our main house has undergone a complete renovation, featuring new flooring, fresh paint, modern furnishings, and updated kitchen countertops. The main floor includes a full bathroom with two showers, a kitchen, dining area, living room, and a designated work area. Upstairs, you will find two bedrooms: the first contains two full-sized beds, while the second is equipped with three single beds. This accommodation is ideal for large groups seeking outdoor adventures or wedding parties needing family lodging. Additionally, there is a shared office accessible to both the main house and the hotel rooms, which includes an ice machine, a washer, and a dryer. *Kitchen: The kitchen is well-stocked with multiple drip coffee makers, ample dishware, baking accessories, a microwave, dishwasher, convection oven, refrigerator, and stove/oven. *Living Room/Dining Area: The dining area, which seats six, is conveniently located adjacent to the kitchen and living room, creating a welcoming space for socializing. We kindly request that you use hot mats or a tablecloth before placing any hot items on the table. The living room is equipped with a Smart TV, allowing you to log into your own streaming accounts—just remember to log out upon departure. A bureau beneath the TV contains a selection of games for your enjoyment. *Designated Work Area: If you need to work during your stay, there is a designated work area off the kitchen, complete with WiFi access. *Full Bathroom: The bathroom, though compact, features two showers. Guests also have access to a shared half bath located in the office. *Upstairs Bedroom 1: The first upstairs bedroom includes two full-sized beds, a mini-fridge, a bureau, and closet space for storage. *Upstairs Bedroom 2: The second upstairs bedroom contains three single beds, a Smart TV, a designated work area, a bureau, and a spacious closet for storage. Sugarloaf Mountain is just 9 miles away, and a brief one-minute drive will take you to the boat launch area, where you can launch a boat, swim, or bring your kayaks. Additionally, ATV trails are conveniently located across the road. The Canadian border is 33 miles to the north, and Rangeley is situated 19 miles away. Shared space for hotel rooms and main house guests: For your convenience, there is a coin-operated washer and dryer located in the office area, each requiring $2.50 to use. There is an ironing board and iron located by the washer and dryer. An ice machine is also available in the office; feel free to help yourself. Please be advised that, although we refer to this space as an office, it is not staffed. This area is designated for guests to access additional services. There is a keypad on the door and the code is 4982. The outside yard is a common area where all guests can use the grill and picnic tables.
