Escape to your private lakefront oasis on Palmer Lake. Step onto your dock or sandy beach, paddle with 4 kayaks, or fish for bass and catfish right off the dock. The "Main Event" deck is perfect for dining, lounging, and fires. Bring your boat, or grab a beach chair for the afternoon sun. Inside: AC, modern amenities, full kitchen, and workspace. Dine lakefront under string lights or head to the village. The space The Lakeshore Cottage offers a lake-life getaway, designed to be comfortable inside with options for adventure or relaxation right outside the door. INDOOR LIVING Modern Comfort: Enjoy a clean, "homy" interior featuring AC, modern amenities, well equipped kitchenette, and a dedicated workspace for those who need to stay connected. BEDROOM 1: Queen Bed + AC - Storage: While the closet is reserved for owner use, we’ve provided hanging hooks on the back of the door and an empty dresser for your belongings. - Smart Design: The tall bedframes are designed to accommodate luggage or small coolers underneath to keep your living space clutter-free. - Overflow: Additional hanging space is available in the Bedroom 2 walk-in closet. BEDROOM 2: Two Twin Beds + Walk-in closet w/ storage - Walk-In Convenience: This room features a walk-in closet with hangers and extra storage space. - Beach & Bedding: You’ll find fresh beach towels, extra pillows, and cozy living room throw blankets stored here. - Ready for You: All beds are made with clean, comfortable sheets upon check-in, and dressers are empty and ready for use. LIVING AREA: Cozy electric fireplace, Roku Smart TV, and a fold-out chair (sleeps 1 extra). KITCHENETTE: Fully stocked with purified water spout, electric induction cooktop, toaster oven, microwave, full sized refrigerator, complimentary coffee & tea, and everything needed for a family feast. HOSPITALITY ITEMS: Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, paper plates, paper towels, welcome basket w/ snacks, and more! OUTDOOR LIVING * The Waterfront Experience: Step directly onto your private dock or relax on our unique sandy beach. Explore the water with four provided kayaks (life vests included in the deck box!). * The "Main Event" Deck: Our favorite spot in the world! This large deck features dedicated spaces for dining, lakeside lounging, and gathering by a fire. * Angler’s Paradise: Bring your rod and tackle box—as my husband can testify, there are great varieties of fish right below the dock. * Boat & Beach Ready: Bring your own boat to use at the cottage dock, or simply grab a beverage and a beach chair to catch the late afternoon sun. * Local Flavor: Take a short drive to dine in the village or grill a fantastic meal and dine lakefront, under the string lights. SECURITY For your security and property protection, the exterior of the home is monitored by two motion-triggered cameras that record 15-second clips: - Southwest Corner: Monitors the driveway and deck steps; motion also activates a security floodlight at night. - Northwest Corner: Monitors the main entry and sliding door access points. Guest access Guests are free to use all areas of the cottage, except the areas that are locked or otherwise labeled as "owner" spaces. Please stay off the adjacent properties/docks. The lot and shed on the other side of the driveway and beach are not a part of this property and should not be accessed by guests. When entering / exiting the driveway, please take care to keep your vehicle off the grass of the property across the street. :) Other things to note We are always seeking to improve our guests' experience.
