Welcome to Vänna Gård, located on a headland in Lake Västra Silen in northern Dalsland. Here you will have the opportunity to stay in Ester's nice little cottage in the forest edge at the end of the headland. The farm is surrounded by water, fields and forests and is a very unique place. Do you long for simplicity, silence and a place for inspiration and creativity? The space Ester's cottage is a small red cottage that was once used as a weaving cottage on the farm. When you open the door, you will enter a simple bright room overlooking the lake and Vänna farm. The cottage is equipped with a refrigerator and a countertop stove where you can cook while enjoying your favorite music playing in the speaker. When you sit down at the table on one of the Dalsland chairs and enjoy your meal, it can pay off to keep an eye out the window. Mossviken has a rich animal and bird life, you never know what will appear just outside the cottage wall. You can lie comfortably in the double bed, which can be separated into two 90 cm beds, and enjoy the silence, or if you want, fall asleep to the crackle of a fire from the cottage's beautiful and warming iron stove from Husqvarna. Outside the door, your own patio awaits, where you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and listen to the birdsong. Next to the cottage is the outdoor kitchen where you can quickly do the dishes, then your hammock is waiting for you in the forest. A simpler sun-heated camping shower is in place if you want to take a quick shower. A barbecue is also ready to use during the long summer evenings. If you need extra space, it is also possible to add a small outdoor shed with two beds, located right next to the cottage, for an extra cost. Just a stone's throw away, you can take a dip in the bay at your very own swimming area where you can enjoy the sunset. You also have the option to rent our wood-fired sauna, where there is a fantastic evening light over the lake. About 100 meters from the cabin, you will find the small, simple and cozy outdoor toilet that is also included in the accommodation. Should you like additional space, there is a possibility to also rent our nice little outdoor shed, which is located about 15 meters from Ester's cottage, for SEK 500/night.
