Nestled just south of the train tracks in Smithville, this space blends comfort and nostalgia with eclectic decor and a touch of porchside peace. The space Inside, you’ll find: • A king bed and queen bed, each in their own artfully styled room • A full kitchen with all the essentials, plus glassware and bar tools • A coffee maker (bring your favorite grounds and creamer!) • A smart TV with Roku (use your own logins) • A classic FM radio with Bluetooth adapter • A curated stack of board games for slow evenings • A washer and dryer with laundry supplies provided Step outside to a checkerboard porch table perfect for morning coffee or evening hangs. While the backyard isn’t formally landscaped, it’s open for lounging — and you might see your host out back working on a project or parking the occasional trailer. (The host lives onsite but in a separate tiny house). This house isn’t trendy—it’s intentional. Every piece of art, furniture, and fixture is part of the experience. You’re not just staying here; you’re stepping into a vibe. Guest access You’ll have full, private access to the house during your stay — with the exception of one locked bedroom in the rear, which is reserved for storage. The backyard is a shared space and available for you to enjoy, but please consider it a bonus rather than a featured amenity. I park my truck and trailer back there and occasionally work on projects, so it’s not always perfectly manicured — but you’re welcome to hang out, explore, or get some fresh air. I have an old car that I often keep parked in the driveway… you can block it in if needed. Please note: The outbuildings are off-limits to guests.
