Escape to the peace and simplicity of the countryside in our cozy, attached apartment on a 7th-generation family homestead. This private apartment comfortably sleeps 4 and is fully ADA compliant, also featuring a bathroom, washer/dryer, a fully equipped kitchenette and a piano. Large windows offer views of open fields, grazing goats, and beautiful sunrises; all of which can be enjoyed over a hot cup of coffee from the deck, or by a serene stroll down to Stoney Creek. The space You will be staying in an attached, private apartment that is totally separate from the rest of the house with your own driveway and deck with a grill. The apartment has it's own bathroom, washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, one bedroom with a full and queen bed, and a living room space with couch and leather chair that folds into a bed. There is a TV with ROKU guest access and an older piano onsite as well. This entire apartment is ADA compliant with a ramp on the side of the deck and a walk-in shower. This is a working hobby farm with goats, chickens, a rooster named Timmy, and 4 kittens who are very curious. If you'd like to explore there is a dedicated creek path that will take you to a beautiful forest sitting area that overlooks Stoney Creek. Outside of Stoney Creek, if you'd like a tour of the rest of the homestead that has been in the family since 1838, your hosts would love to show you around depending on their availability! Guest access You will have the entire apartment and deck to yourselves that includes a private driveway. A smarklock code will be sent to you after booking that allows for easy self-check in, valid for your entire stay. If you have stayed at this AirBnB in the past, there is now a brand new Stoney Creek path that leads to an overlook seating area all on the east side of the goat pasture that is exclusively for Airbnb guests. Other things to note This is a 7th generation family homestead and the current family has younger children that you may see out doing chores or playing, but they will not be near the apartment. Guests will have the east side of the barn and Stoney Creek walk to themselves if they are up for exploring!
