Escape to this cozy cabin nestled in a tranquil cul-de-sac, surrounded by majestic trees. Just a short walk to a members-only lake, this updated retreat is perfect for families. It's conveniently located 1.5 miles from Big Trees Market and close to Calaveras Big Trees State Park and Bear Valley Ski Resort. This clean and recently updated cabin features a great room that serves as the perfect gathering spot with a gas fireplace and a split unit. The kitchen is fully stocked for easy meal prep. The space Our cabin has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The top floor (where the main entrance is located) has two bedrooms - one has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds. There is also a full bathroom with a shower over tub on this floor. The master bedroom is located on the bottom/lower floor and has an attached master bathroom with a shower. It also has a large walk-in closet. Guest access The whole cabin and property is available to guests who have booked their stay with us. Please note that there is a door in the master bedroom walk-in closet that should remain closed under all circumstances unless there is an emergency and the bottom, back door is not accessible. Opening this door will trigger an alarm/notification. Other things to note Important Winter Travel Advisory: Guests staying between mid-November to mid-March must be prepared for winter driving conditions. Carrying tire chains is often required and highly recommended. Mountain Environment Notice: Please be aware that our area can experience occasional power outages, especially during storms. We recommend being prepared. Should an outage occur, please use the gas fireplace upstairs and the gas wall heater downstairs to stay warm. Flashlights can be found on the hall tree, next to the entrance. While we strive to ensure a seamless stay, it's important for guests to know that unplanned electricity outages can occur even during periods of clear weather and sunshine. These are often due to factors beyond our control, such as maintenance work by the utility company. Please plan accordingly. Cell Service & Connectivity: Please be aware that our cabin is located in a beautiful, natural mountain setting where cell signal can be spotty. While we offer Wi-Fi, reliable cell service is not always guaranteed throughout the property. We recommend planning accordingly, especially if you rely heavily on cell data. Strict Liability for Unauthorized Charging: Our electrical system is strictly not rated for vehicle charging. By booking this property, guests acknowledge and agree that any unauthorized use of the cabin’s electrical outlets or power sources for vehicle charging constitutes a violation of the rental agreement and a significant safety hazard. - Scope of Liability: Should unauthorized charging result in an electrical failure, fire, or any other damage, the guest of record shall be held personally and fully liable for: - Property Restoration: The full cost of repair or replacement for any damage to the cabin’s electrical system, structure, and furnishings. - Third-Party Damages: Any and all damages caused to neighboring properties, persons, or entities (including utility infrastructure) resulting from a guest-initiated electrical event. - Lost Business Income: Compensation for the "Loss of Use" of the property. This is calculated as the average nightly rate multiplied by the number of days the cabin is unavailable for rent due to repairs, inspections, or restoration. - Relocation Costs: Reimbursing the host for any costs incurred to relocate or refund future guests whose confirmed bookings must be canceled as a result of the damage. - Enforcement: We reserve the right to seek these damages through Airbnb’s AirCover, the Resolution Center, or via independent legal action if necessary. Unauthorized charging will result in an immediate $100 safety violation fee and may lead to the immediate termination of the stay without a refund. To ensure you have a stress-free trip, we recommend charging up before you arrive or utilizing the high-speed chargers nearby: Arnold Tesla Supercharger: (8 chargers, up to 250kW) Located behind the Big Trees Market / Heart & Soul Country Kitchen in the Meadowmont Shopping Center (approx. 5 mins away). Public Level 2 Charging: Available in nearby Murphys at the Victoria Inn or Dunbar House for those exploring downtown.
