Description

“ If you ever, ever, ever need a break. I got a house in a little town. On the lake.” -A song by Galantis & Wrabel. The house's interior is colorfully decorated, with dining, entertaining, relaxing, and recreation rooms. A sunroom, a fully stocked kitchen, a lakeview dining room, a spacious living room with a fireplace and piano, an enclosed porch with a hammock, two spacious bedrooms with king beds, a basement walkout level with a comfy couch, a sauna, swimming, kayaks, boats & more! The space Situated on the bank of Fifth Lake in Rosendale, NY, this spacious home is a little slice of paradise. The Walkill Valley Rail Trail is nearby, and Main Street is minutes away. Enjoy swimming, boating, paddleboarding, or bring your fishing gear. There are numerous spaces to relax, both inside and out. Whether in the living room, boasting Lake Views, a grand fireplace, and a piano, the sunroom with a restored glider, the enclosed porch with a hammock, the lower level with a sauna, outside around the firepit, on the dock, or the Lake. The upstairs bedrooms are super-sized and offer king-sized beds, separated by a hallway, a full bathroom, and a walk-in shower. The lower level of the house can also be used for sleeping accommodations and has direct access to the outside patio, with a series of stairs leading to the brand new dock. The driveway is limited to 2 vehicles and has a charging port for EVs. We encourage our guests to explore our beautiful area, but we understand that nesting at the lake house is a natural stress reliever. Guest access Guests are welcome to enjoy our home, except the garage bays and the space below, which are private and will be locked. We also ask that guests not enter the utility room on the basement level. In addition, any doors marked private are off limits to guests. We ask that guests stay within the confines of our property, which is defined by a wire fence bordering the property line. Other things to note This house has stairs. Two bedrooms are upstairs, and a secondary living room downstairs could also be an additional sleeping area. There are stairs from the sunroom to the patio and from the enclosed porch side to the patio area. There are also stairs leading to the dock and the lake. The property was built into bedrock on the bank of the lake, hence all the stairs. Our driveway will be expanded, but there are currently only two parking spaces in front of the garage. Our driveway is just past a blind turn, so pulling in and out should be done carefully. We have installed a mirror across the road so guests can monitor oncoming traffic. There are only a few distant houses on the lake, but we ask our guests to respect our neighbors by preserving the peace and tranquility of the lake. The two bedrooms upstairs have a wall switch to control table lamps as an initial light source. Please don't manually turn those lamps off; use the wall switch. The inside fireplace is currently unavailable. We hope to have it available asap. The outdoor firepit is usable.
