In addition, there is a sofa bed in the living room. The apartment is well-equipped with kitchen appliances and accessories (dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine, washing machine, iron, dryer, etc.), therefore it is also perfect for a longer stay. The apartment is a great base for exploring Poznań and the surrounding area, as well as historically and naturally interesting parts of Greatpoland. Within walking distance from the apartment, there is the famous Kórnik Castle, surrounded by a 30 ha English-style park and Prowent, where the poet and Nobel laureate Wisława Szymborska was born. On weekends in May, it is worth visiting the New Arboretum, where you can admire blooming azaleas and rhododendrons. At a distance of 600m from the apartment there is the Kórnik lake offering modern recreational infrastructure, a promenade, bicycle paths, boat trips and a swimming pool. We also invite you to visit the old town in Kórnik with the Gothic Collegiate Church from the 15th century. There are good restaurants . Just a dozen or so kilometers from Kórnik, you will discover charming places such as the Palace and thousand-year-old oaks in Rogalin, the Greatpoland National Park in Puszczykowo, or Zaniemyśl, famous for the Edward Island and Sea Battles.
