She’s still soft, still stylish—but one of our cats fancied herself an interior designer and gave the arm a bit of a makeover. You’ll also spot a seam that’s come undone from years of cozy movie nights. It’s all part of the charm and story of the house. (And yes, we still love her.) The kitchen door has a double deadbolt. Keys are provided so you can lock it from the inside if you like. That said, the neighborhood is quiet and safe—I lived here over 30 years, and most folks on the road have too. It’s the kind of place where people wave when they pass… if they pass at all. 🐾 Pets welcome! There's a $150 fee per pet per stay. Please include pets in your booking message so we can prepare accordingly. 🎉 Hosting a small gathering? If you’d like to have more than 12 guests at the home (even just for a few hours), we allow small, respectful gatherings up to 25 people. Ask about the fee. 📅 Staying longer? We offer discounts for extended bookings of 7 -30 nights or more. It’s the perfect spot to slow down and stretch out. Guest access 📌 Other Things to Note: For storage and safety purposes, the basement is not accessible to guests. The closed-in garage, basement and upstairs closet are locked. Other things to note – Please notify me in advance if you’re bringing pets or planning a gathering so I can help make proper arrangements. – Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, out of respect for nearby neighbors. – Some areas of the home (like the garage and select closets) are locked and not accessible during your stay. – The home is on well water and sits on 2 peaceful acres, often visited by deer and other wildlife. The main living space is just over 3000sq ft with 3 additional sunrooms, a balcony, a deck and the little stoop at the front of the house. – Cell signal varies depending on your provider, but Wi-Fi is strong and reliable throughout the house with a back up battery for power loss. - We provide starter packs of toilet paper soap, shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, kitchen, sponge, just about everything that you can think of that you need but only starter pack. If you don’t have it or run out of it there is a Dollar General of 15 minutes in each direction. Also, fire pit is there along with tongs to roast marshmallows but the wood needs to be brought in by you or arrangements made with me prior to your stay. – You’ll receive several automated check-in and checkout messages, but I give guests complete privacy unless needed.
