Salt Creek Atelier is a spacious, light filled loft perched above Salt Creek Mercantile in downtown Ashland, Ne. Furnished with a mix of modern and antique furniture, art-lined walls, cozy touches and soft european linen bedding, the Atelier is sure to provide you and your guests with a luxuriously cozy small town stay. The space WELCOME! As a helpful heads up, on Saturday mornings throughout the summer, the Ashland Farmer’s Market is held on 15th street just outside the Atelier and Salt Creek Mercantile from 9-Noon. It’s a very small market, but just a consideration :) ***Please read the full description all the way through to the “Other details to Note” section at the bottom for important additional details on guests and pricing before booking. A booked reservation is an acceptance of these policies. Thank you! The space features high ceilings, over a dozen large windows, original century-old wood floors and a completely open concept design. Our French cottage inspired kitchen features an Ilve range, a vintage style refrigerator, an antique farm sink, a large prep island, and all the smaller appliances, cookware and serveware you need to stay in and host. A large farm table capable of seating 8 sits between the kitchen and living room. The Atelier features a primary suite with queen bed, and a large en suite marble bathroom featuring a custom walk-in shower, clawfoot tub, double sinks, and complementary robes to use during your stay. In addition to our primary suite, two other bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and the other with two twins, all feature European linen bedding, plenty of pillows, antique dressers, and ceiling fans to stay cool while you slumber. Each room also has a luggage holder for quick stays and low light sound machines to help you fall asleep to soothing sounds. Just inside the entryway is a second full bathroom and a washer dryer closet with all the needed supplies, including iron and ironing board if needed. The living room features ample cozy seating with two long leather couches and accent chairs, perfect for relaxing, an 85" Frame Tv to enjoy all your favorites, a round vintage game table stocked with classic games and coloring supplies for children with seating for 4 people, a record player, and an office space just around the corner, perfect for getting a bit of work in during your stay. Just outside is shopping, restaurants, a bakery, coffee shops and a selection of bars, ranging from wineries to breweries, making this location a perfect spot to meet up with friends or family, or to simply have a staycation and relax. The Atelier is located on the second floor and there is a tall flight of stairs to get to it. There is an elevator for the property, but we prefer to reserve it for those with mobility limitations. If you require elevator access, you must message us before your stay to request access to the keys, otherwise use will be prohibited. *The elevator is small and can only fit two people. It opens to 32” wide and may not be compatible with all wheelchairs. *The maximum weight capacity of the elevator is 500lbs. Thank you, and we look forward to hosting you! Guest access Guests have access to full apartment and main stairwell down to Silver Street. The back hallway is a staff only utility room and is prohibited to guests. Other things to note -The correct amount of overnight guests must be selected during booking. If this number changes between when the reservation is made and the check-in date, you may reach out to have it updated, and we will also do a final confirmation the day before check-in. Our nightly rate is a base cost for 2 GUESTS ONLY. There is a small fee of $30 per night for each additional guest (over 2). No exceptions. If after check in, the guest count is in question, a review via our outside camera to confirm the guest count may be done, and if additional guests are observed, an updated reservation invoice will sent, and we kindly ask that be paid that day. We take the safety of our guests and our property very seriously, so knowing who is staying with us is very important. Thank you for your understanding of our guest policies! - For cleanliness and care of our old floors and rugs, we ask that the Atelier be a "shoes free" space when possible. Shoes can be left in the entryway upon arrival, but we do provide slippers! -There is no dishwasher in the Atelier. We think the best conversations happen during washing up! -You may have your own guests over to visit (up to 8 people TOTAL are allowed in the Atelier at a time) but only registered guests are allowed overnight. Visitors must leave by 10:00pm. -No parties are allowed in the Atelier. -Large furniture like couches, dining table, coffee tables are not to be moved. -In certain circumstances, we have the ability to accommodate up to 8 total overnight guests. This option must be done through manual invoice, so if interested, please message us directly. -We kindly ask that all meals and items that could stain (red wine, tomato sauce, etc) be enjoyed at the dining table. We want you to enjoy your stay though, so please enjoy light snacks and drinks anywhere else in the space! -There is no smoking allowed in the Atelier, in the hallway/stairwell, or within 50 feet of the street level door. - No guests under 18 can be left alone without an adult present.
