Built in 2023 by Father and Daughter. Surrounded by multiple hay fields and woods. Solar Powered Electric. Propane for hot water, oven and propane heater. Internet directly wired to the home. Note- New Woodstove has been put in so pictures need to be updated. All the beams sustainably harvested through old ash that has been taken out by the emerald ash borer. Please contact if needing heating or cooling the premises as the off grid operates differently. No Fires without proper instruction given. The space Nestled in Hay fields and near the woods. Bedroom is in the Loft from a spiral staircase. Must be okay with spiral stair case to get to bed. Off Grid utilities. Located three fields back from the main road but quick access to Highway. Not Baby/Child Proof. Guest access access code given before arrival. Other things to note Exact instructions to get to the cabin will be provided when booking. MUST READ AS THIS IS OFF GRID UTILITIES This is an off grid house so water and electric are not unlimited. If you are booking know that you are booking an alternative living space. Be mindful for the experience. Full sun- Unlimited Solar. Less Sun- No AC unit use. If the solar is used in a wasteful manor, the host will need to start the generator and enter the premises but this may not be right away. Windows and fan control temperature and the building is well insulated. Absolutely no AC when sun goes down. The solar battery can not handle this. Please do not fill bath all the way as water may not stay warm with the output, and then the pump runs a lot taking electric and the water source. Please do not let standing water on wood floors or wood countertops. If unfamiliar with New York States outdoors- Use caution when going outside for ticks and mosquitos. There is an audible water pump. This will kick on when the toilet flushes every few times or when someone is taking a shower. NO Campfires or WoodStove Use. WiFi info: Activities nearby !
