Enjoy this 1950's raised ranch in the quiet Washington Historic District of West Chicago. With in walking the historic downtown with great coffee shops, restaurants, and thrift shops, while also being a short train ride to downtown Chicago or a short car/bike ride to forest preserves, bike paths and other downtowns. The house has 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. 2 bedrooms have queen beds, and the 3rd room has a trundle bed that can be pulled into a queen. There is an additional loft space for work. The space The house is nestled on a quiet residential street. There is a decent sized fenced yard with patio, BBQ and fire pit. The basement has basic workout equipment, fusball table and electric key board. TVs are equipped with Roku so you can log into you favorite streaming service. There are also plenty of books, games and childrens toys to pass the time away. There are babygates in the basement that you can place yourself or request us to put in place. We also have a toddler blow up mattress and a regular blow up mattress available upon request. If there is anything kid specific or other that you need, don't hesitate to reach out as we can likely figure something out! For longer term stays, we can give you one month free Peloton app access that you can use with the exercise bike. Downtown is only a 5 minute walk where you can check out the local flare or you can hop on the metra train to check out other areas including Chicago. Lots of forest preserves and bike trails round out all the local possibilities. Guest book inside the home also offers a variety of recommendations. Guest access The entire home, yard and driveway is accessible to the guest. The garage is not, however the is enough space to park three cars in the driveway. Other things to note As stated, this is a very quiet neighborhood full of families. Our neighbors are super kind and helpful and ask that you be respectful of the neighborhood vibe!
