Stenstuga i Onsala
Stenstuga i Onsala
Description
In the middle of the scenic Onsala peninsula, there is our rustic stone cottage of 21 sqm from the late 1800s, furnished with modern amenities such as kitchen, fridge, toilet/shower, underfloor heating, TV and, not least, two very comfortable beds. Patio with morning and evening sun. Parking space. The space The stone cottage of 21 sqm with half-meter thick walls has stood firmly on the Onsala peninsula since the late 1800's. In modern times, it has served as a seasonal dwelling. From an older neighbor, we have learned that a man from Estonia lived here, who mostly lived in Gothenburg where he worked at the historic Götaverken as a shipbuilder. Here in Onsala, he found peace and quiet, surrounded by magnificent greenery and apple trees. The cottage came into our possession in 2004 and we have carefully refurbished the cottage interior with underfloor heating, running water, shower and toilet. In the kitchen there is a small fridge, small freezer, coffee maker, microwave, two stovetop burners, electric kettle and toaster. The old floor in the "living room" remains, as it became like new after a good sanding. A summer morning on the patio with leaves rustling and birds chirping as the only noises is highly recommended or why not cuddle up in the evening with a book or film (TV/streaming with your own phone/computer to Chromecast) when the autumn winds blow around the hut. Other things to note To find your way into the cottage, drive onto the small road at Mariedalsvägen 205, a black garage is out by the road. The road leads to the grounds where you can park comfortably directly to the left, one meter from the cabin. You have arrived!
